  1. I got mine yesterday. I posted a link to the pictures in the NEW toys thread. Here it is again. http://www.flickr.com/photos/22814119@N03/show/with/3991160561/ the 32nd one is the large one. I really like it and think its worth the money. Time will tell if they are a big hit and if they bring out the other 2 versions.
  2. Hey guys.. Thought some of you would like to see these. Spec Cast did a great job on these. It is mostly plastic but Tons of detail. http://www.flickr.com/photos/22814119@N03/show/with/3991160561/
  3. Hey guys. Im working on this project. I need to gauge the interest in this. Im not sure its worth the time and money to try and make this in a quantity for everyone that wants them or if I should just do it as a per need basis for myself and maybe a few others that want them.. This is a Trelleborg 850x60x38 let me know what you guys think.
  4. The Cougar is a ST series which is the manual transmition. The FW is bassed off of the PTA frame which used the Automatic transmission. Ertl didnt/doesnt have a PTA frame yet so they used this to do the model. Its not right by a long shot really as the hood is even longer..but its still a decent model. I just wish someone would make a detailed 855 cummins motor. Or even an N14.
  5. Joe, Sorry Im late to the party again. I havent been on the forum for some time. The tractor looks great. I hope I can make my blue 1156 as nice as yours.
  6. Please. I just research the heck out of it. True a single action is better for beginners..but if you are going to do a bit of painting and like to upgrade alot a dual action is the way to go..may be a bit more learning with it but once you get the hang of it, it will stay with you for a long time.
  7. I would recommend a dual action brush. That is where you press for air and pull for paint. It lets you control the flow so much better. THey are a little more money but well worth it. Especially for what you want to do.
  8. It sucks!!! ;D ;D ;) :D Gotchya.. "Im So excited, I just cant hide it" FANTASTIC my friend. although you already knew that. Talk soon.
  9. Looks great Pete. Once I get my 9390 and Panther 1000 done I will do mine..but who knows when that will be. To busy to think about toys really.
  10. Looking good Mate. Those tyres are junk in my opinion. I plan on putting some from the bigroy 1080 on it. Duals of course of us yanks. Maybe a 60ft field cultivator behind it. Hope you have a good holiday season.
  11. I cant wait to see what you do to it. I have a blue one I want to fix up and detail it a bit. Good luck and keep us posted
  12. Pete that looks good. I have been trying to figure out how to make the bigger bonnet fit. Not sure how your going to do it yet. From the pictures I have looked at you dont need the extra that you left on the tractor. Maybe be wrong though. What are the plans for an engine? My idea of the 8400 wont work I guess. back to the drawing board. Keep us updated. Cheers
  13. Wow..Thanks for the pics guys. Looks like I need to get a second one and put weights on it. Being American, Im not a fan of the 3pt mounted weights. Thanks again guys..
  14. Joe, That looks sweet. I have been looking to good tires to do the same. Can you tell me which ones you used? Does anyone have any pictures of one with front weights instead of the front mounted 3pt? I would like to convert this tractor to an American model and redo the rear with american 3pt and drawbar. Thanks for the info and job well done Joe.
  15. OHHHH Cant wait. An 8 row planter would look the trick on that tractor.
  16. OHH Oh. I bet you will beat me to the finish line if its the same thing. Oh well. I may look at casting it if it turns out.. Cant wait to see it.
