Pto guard will cost more than you might have paid for complete machine. Most replacement plastic guards cost more than a completely new ready to use replacement pto
  2. yes its sad phil , i was supposed to go to there open day but i could not make it then about a week later they closed up , dont think it was money problems why they shut , it is going to be tough for a lot of dealers going forward . manufacturers push dealers to have loads of stock which has to be paid for at some point . There will be more close up before the years out .
  3. Sounds really good ,yes would be right up my street , i nearly turned as green as the tractors last time 🤣 , i did enjoy looking at both collections last time
  4. If it do go back to November i would make plans to go but its right in the main busy periods on farm and with the weather we have been having farm is not in the condition it should be and with a minor health problem it would be difficult to get there at moment . Will miss you lads on the boat ,had a great time 2 years back with you lot , a big thanks to Robbo and Andy in helping out as well as David , Barry and Sean 👍
  5. There is a lot going on that they dont want us to now about . Its a job at the moment for us to find a home for the wheat that is in my barn , Bird flu closed up a lot of poultry units and a lot of pigs was not replaced when they was building up on farms and was just killed and chucked in landfill sites , last October 3 lorry drivers told me a boat full of Ukrainian wheat come into Ipswich docks and was offloaded and tipped into stores around the area , the 3 drivers that told me had been carting it , it come in as it was cheap and also by the uk buying it it was a way of ukrainian getting money to buy more arms

  15. Paint was dry this morning so bolted on the bracket and lifted the small unit on top for storage
  16. Smaller unit that holds wire and torch will spend most of its time on the floor as lighter to move whilst welding but it can sit on top of main unit but fixing brackets are missing,I expect my mate at forge chucked it away anyway I made one this afternoon which will bolt into existing holes and top bit will sit on it for storage but it can swivel around if needs to
  17. Got mig welder in above posts up and running then my old gauges started leaking expect rubber seal are perished as it's old so nipped to local machinery mart and bought a new gauge as we wanted to carry on with some welding, welder runs a treat. Man in shop asked me what Clarke's welder it was going on ,I said it's not,he said they only fit Clarke's welders 🤔 anyway I pulled out a piece of paper that I had made a note of numbers on from website and said to man do these numbers match up he said yes so I said well that's the one we need and it will fit any welder as it goes on the gas bottle anyway 🤣 he took my money and said if it doesn't fit I could bring it back 👍
