  4. Yes the lovably A140 and then the A47 , i was aware your cousins farmed in that area . The reason i went up there was to pick up this trailer ,i should have bought it last July but did not and have been kicking myself ever since but now i have bought it to cart bales and to double up when i need to move things around on my own
  5. Yes seem to be on a 8 day week at the moment ,few other things i have also done in last month or so but no photos and still have other things i should have done
  6. The Saturday of the bank holiday weekend i had a 100 mile round trip with my tractor ,granddaughter Jasmine came with me for a ride out and took the photos , i wonder if Tractorman 810 recognise the area ,left at 6-30am and did the 50miles in 2 hrs but took 3.5hrs to do the 50 back do to so much traffic i had to keep pulling in to let it buy then sit there 10 minutes before traffic had gone buy . Also passed the Goodies sigh
  7. Also got offered this one ,it runs nicely but linkage lever is seized ,should free ok ok ,anyway i did not wont it but showed a interest but said it was to much money as i was aware my mate Podge would like it ,anyway my mate went and made a offer a good bit lower and got it
  8. A week or so back i got asked if i would like to buy this David Brown ,its been standing 3 years so not sure if it will start ,might be seized ,i only gave it a quick look but said no i wont buy it but i now a man that might ,anyway i think a mate of mine might have done a deal ,its just got to be run by the people dealing with the will

    Potatoes

One properly would be enough if you started 4 days ahead of the planter ,the planter goes quicker so would soon catch up so they run 2/3/4 or more to get field ready quickly so they can get spuds in by end of the day in case it rains
  12. The other week i had the low pressure transmission light come on while driving the JCB it was worrying as i thought transmission was about to pack up ,i was loading wheat at the time so had to keep going ,it was still driving fine had a quick look and could not see anything hanging off so as we had another 3 loads to load i crossed my fingers and kept going ,a few days later i noticed it had a bit of oil underneath it from over night ,because there is not a lot of space around engine/transmission i could not see a lot anyway it was do to have filters changed as it was April time when i bought it a few years ago and do them yearly ,Goody had already got me the filters and oils ,i also pulled out the transmission suction gauze to see if anything stuck in it as maybe a clutch-pack was breaking up but that was as clean as can be . Anyway got camera on phone and stuck it up and around the bits that you cant see and saw this transmission sender unit which looked damaged and leaking ,a right so and so of a job to get to it had to cut a 24mm spanner in half as just no room then got a bit of batten wood about 2 feet long and pushed on spanner and gave bottom of wood a sharp blow with a hammer and it moved was then able to unscrew it by hand but all working blind and yes it had snapped and was leaking . So gave goody a call and we got a new one which came with a short bit of cable as electric connection had changed over the years and was a conversion adapter ,also new one was only 22mm so had to cut another spanner in half to put it back in bit of a job but with the help of my son for a hr we managed it and got it tight and so far its all back running as it should
  13. This last Sunday i got a few Brownie points of the wife as i had to dig out 14 posts that had rotted away at ground level and replace with new ones ,they are in the ground 26inches and ground was rock hard
  14. Biggest bit weighed over 3 ton as it lifted rear wheels of the JCB of the ground . Chainsaw was not big enough down bottom end to go though from both side so i picked it up in the air a decant height and dropped it to see if a bit of the root would snap off ,all it did was bounce back upright into the hole it had fallen out off . After picking it up again and making another cut we got part of the root off then got other bit off by cutting again
  15. Easter Sunday my mate came along with his 24inch chainsaw to help me finish clearing this oak that fell down in the storms . Had to cut clear of the barbed wire .
  16. A mate of mine took out a hedge to make a driveway entrance ,and i cleared it away then re-grabbed it out of trailer and carried to my bonfire
