  4. Monday afternoon and most of Tuesday i was spreading this ORIGIN POLYSULPHATE (sulphur), normally get it mixed in with Nitrogen but this year it was not available , so i got straight nitrogen and this polysulphate ,neither was cheap but was the best way to do it allow it was a extra pass though the crops . I had never spread the polysulphate before and in the Amazone book there is loads of different fertilisers listed but not this one ,so at 8am on monday morning i logged onto the Amazone website and told them what i had to spread ,rate it needed to go on at my planned forward speed etc and emailed it off to them in Germany ,10 minutes later i got a reply and 3 pages of information which i downloaded and printed off , set the spreader up as they had said and made a start ,i had 9 600kg bags to spread over 66ha (165 acres roughly i think) ,got it all done and there was just enough left in the spreader to run around the headland again on the last field to completely empty out ready for a wash down . Really good service and advice from Amazone πŸ‘
  5. Monday lunchtime i took a call to say my chainsaw parts had come in so i quickly nipped over to Does at Framlingham to pick them up ,the case tractors are going out on hire any day now and the two green ones have been traded in for red ones
  6. Its his 3rd birthday and he came up the farm ,one of his favourite things to do is clime up the rubble heap ,he has fallen a few times but he still keep going up it
  7. The other day i was trimming some conifers and grandson Theo came to help with his toy chainsaw ,hard-hat, and tractor trailor to cart the bits away . He then went and found a big puddle as it was more fun driving though that than clearing up conifers VID-20220306-WA0009.mp4
  8. This was last week, yes it was sad as it was a lady that we have know for several years from the next village to us ,but i thought i would share with you the wonderful horses

  11. These ones had also fallen in the last storms , one of these had also fallen so i took the rest down as they have been dead a long time and wobbled when i pushed on them . Got a decent load of wood again . This Oak has been rotten on this side for a few years now but today we noticed it has a split going right up the main trunk now from the recent storms ,probably be one of the next ones to fall .

  17. Job i had not planned but this bit of a roof on a old shed was dripping in places so while i got the asbestos skip still on the farm i decided to strip this bit off and chuck in the skip ,i have several sheets of tin already on farm to recover with
  18. I nipped over to the land i rent a few miles away from the farm and found this in the corner of the field , i will get a mate in next weekend if its dry to come over to help me tidy it up ,probably take JCB if really dry and bring trunk home on trailor to ring up
  19. Here it is Phil ,it is just a basic rear mounted transport box on cat 1 linkage for my Sirromer tractor ,but i adapted a frame i had with cat 2 pins which fitted my front linkage ,i welded on 2 cat 1 linkage balls/arms and 2 plates up for top link ,this way i can drop my linkage off and it will still go on the Sirromer ,if you take a pin out and pull a bit of rope (not fitted) it will tip ,like i said i only use it for chainsaws or other little things that come up
