  1. Bluegreen, sorry you feel let down by the wheels on the JD, they do scuff the mudguard very slightly, but I don't create models to be played with, on the other hand, they dont not turn. As far as the front hub cover goes, I made the cap to go over the screw for the wiking JD, which it does perfectly, so once the wheels are screwed in place the hub can be glued no problem and the wheel does still turn. I take the point about the rear drilling and it is something I will do on kits now prior to despatch. They will only be a pilot hole though as I dont know which model you will want to fit it onto. Fendt looks great, good job. One point though. Not once have I heard from you since your purchase, so thanks very much for slagging them off on ther forum, rather than giving me a ring to discuss. Good job
  2. iM BACK IN THE BELOVED SMALL HALL, ID dbp'S OLD SPOT, IN THE CORNER, SOUNDS LIKE IF THE rc'S ARE UP AND RUNNING aNDY, IS PROBABLY A GOOD THING
  3. I now have them available on my site, but I need to be careful as I cant promote my items as I haven't yet agreed with Andy,
  4. your right, its farly easy to make up a bracket to sit the hopper onto the rubin axle. tidy rig...
  5. i've not read every post in this topic, but i get the jist. I fully agree, I think Spalding is not moving on in anyway, Im sure there maintaining numbers through the door, but I know im not the only one seeing fewer and fewer sales. Im not blaming Spalding for all of this as the choice of model choice now is nothing less than astonishing, but certainly twice yearly doesnt seem to work, not with the mainstay manufacturers bringing the 2nd half models out to coincide with Agritechnia, meaning the October Spalding doesn't have a great deal extra to offer over the April show. Personally I can't attend show after show to trade my things, but Im seriously thinking of knocking Spalding October on the head and looking at Toytrac. Its venues and show's like Rheged that are the suprise packages for me, Its a day out for the family, with other aspects on the site, to include the rest of the family and the wife's to take the oppurtunity to enjoy. Maybe Im biast, because I get a lot of Sketch interest from Parents, Wife's and girlfriends leading upto Christmas. Long may it continue. I suppose in summary, I mean yes, I would be interested in attanding a bigger venu with more to offer and a wider aspect than just models, but I also like the littler shows up and down the country.
  6. definately not organised couple of late nights after work and the kids are in bed I think, nevermind, worth it for the most relaxed / friendly show of the year
  7. Can't see how they can make any changes, bar the small subtle ones to do a 7740, without major reinvestment, which they won't be getting if the models are being sold off cheap. I hope the 6 cyl comes out too, as this is were they will sell many models, just have to hope the turnover can get it there.
  8. Im a man of few words, especially on a topic were we are trying to argue red is blue. Perhaps JCB would manage to be 100% British designed, engineered, sourced and built if some of the other historical 'British' companies had hung around, instead of being too slow, or refusing to see areas to improve or adapt. well done JCB Its companies like JCB that this idea of draping a flag on a machine was invented for im bored now,
  9. awesome well done. One of the most realistic scenes I have seen, very talented
  10. give me about 3 weeks check out scratchbuils for sale - agrium attachments
  11. Bringing my nephew and got a family room for £29, but I would imagine they will go up and up now. I remember seeing a room for £65 prior to last Spalding show, but left booking it till later and it dropped again considerably. either get in early, or leave it till late, but thats running a risk.
  12. Sean - Your right if you were talking about a FORD - white or blue roof, but the NH version changed the mudguards to rounded versions with big black overhangs. There arent currently any mudguards on the market that will do the job perfectly, but I think its a fair attempt and looks pretty good to me Well done Fire.
  13. Im glad the 3095 on rowcrops stayed on the table until it did. I really liked converting that model, it was totally different and that appeals to me now. I am in the process of creating a front box similar to the one I put on that 3095, which I will be sending for casting. Great for the UH 3080, especially as the front weights just pop out and you are left with a small rectangular hollow to attach the box into. Great pics.
  14. Thanks Robert. My plan is over the winter to make a few up for the common manufacturers, Ford, NH, MF, Case,JD etc and get them cast, then just sell them on my site for people to do as they please with Might be the odd one goes on a conversion for a show. I think its the next thing after were all board with front links
