Some nice early conversions you've found. A lot easier than today!

What's your latest farm/Construction buy in 2024
Hajo replied to trigger82's topic in General Hobby Discussion
I have not shown my latest purchases for a while. Not a lot has come in lately, but I did pick up this amazing County 1474 Short Nose conversion a few weeks ago. Based on a Britains Ford. Does anyone know how made this? -
Really nice Ford TW15 you have! But for a Massey man you have an aweful lot of colour variation in your collection!
-
Nice Deutz Fahr set! These are indeed getting harder and harder to find ....

Nice kit, where can I try to buy one if still avaliable? -
Wow it seems there is still a lot of Britains POS avaliable. Where do you source this stuff? Do you visit shops and ask for them?
-
Just noticed I completely missed the Land Rover set. Would be a nice one as well, hence it is a bit affordable.
-
Wow a new buckrake, looks nice from those pictures and will go well with the older Britains models.
-
Nice additions to the collection Cyril. What about this white Deutz? Somebody held a spray can?
-
Nice one ... I have kept away from these re-releases but it would still look nice in my collection.
-
Some really nice new models from Britains, but what abut that limited edition Fordson on steel wheels? Anybody got some info on that?
-
Really love the bag!

Other projects took over .... still working on them.
-
Sorry Paul. forgot to let you know I eventually have not gone further with modifying this model.

I have about 50 Britains sets current, they have seriously increased in value over the years. That might make them more desirable, or not? I don't know ... you could start a collection on its own by gathering all variants in colours, wheels, decals, rare boxes (prototypes).

Mint and boxed items usually are worth a lot of money. Gift sets even more, as they come avaliable for sale only once in a while. Also models that have not been presented in the catalogue are scarce and valuable. A few examples of my onw collection :

He also sold the same set for a lot less ... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1970-039-S-VERY-RARE-VINTAGE-BRITAINS-FARM-MODEL-SET-EXCELLENT-CONDITION-/275773331381?nma=true&si=10JkKPnqYgVe4IkqZ1CxuSVXpYw%3D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
