The only problem I am having is with the width of the bonnet and grill.
Its a bit narrow really but it looks OK i think.
Because its a bit on the small side it doesn't come down low enough at the front which is why I have fitted a piece from the corgi at the bottom of the grille.
I will try a britains grille ,I may be able to cut it down on width ? \
Just messing around with a siku te20 again and thought it might make a ford 2000.Just close one and squint with the other and it looks OK !
Also thinking that the chassis could make a bmc mini or leyland 154.
Yes ,I removed the strips.
If you are careful and very lucky you can get them out with a very fine knife edge like a scalpel.They are usualy brittle though so take care.On mine ,the steering wheels were broken off so I split the castings which meant that I could push the strips out from the inside.Hope that makes sense,its one of those things which is easier to do than to explain.
I would like to think that they are worth a bit ,mind you I have paid a bit for them.
I would hate to sit down and work out how much they have cost.
I could have bought a nice real tractor for the same money !
