  1. Does it really matter if we see a rash of variations over a couple of months? You don't have to buy them immediately, they'll be on the market for a while.
  2. A subjective question, but the definitive TW35 for me would have to be the TW35 that Britains made. The County was a different beast, and thanks to Britains the wrong colour, whereas the TW35 was the biggest tractor on the model farm (for quite a while - did it take until the Magnum/T8040 era for it to be out gunned?) that looked right.
  3. Shame those wheels aren't on a T6090/T6020
  4. £250! Wow! Seems to be the market rate and judging by German eBay, at least 10% of production has gone through there... Each to their own, but it doesn't look like it's worth it.
  5. I've always thought the red tractor was quite ironic http://www.redtractor.org.uk/ Talking about supporting the UK with a tractor brand not built here.
  6. Is/was someone in the middle of photoshopping that?
  7. I agree about the tyre combination being popular, but I don't think I've seen them bolted up like that before, surely the outer rim would at the least be inverted. Most real narrow duals seem to have outer rim clamps.

    Schuco 2011

Have they finally dropped the big white air con box from the Unimog roof?
  9. I doubt the official companies would be too happy about their distributors doing this, it's not in their interests to have broken models on the market as they'll never know if someone tries to fix them and pass them off as 'new'.
  10. Haha, sorry, I was on a wind up I just wanted to point out this place has always had discussion, positive and negative and I wouldn't want it any other way. The whole "don't like it, don't buy it" thing is being done to death; especially on a discussion board, why should people keep quiet about something if it is true? It's as if people are being punished for pointing out errors, well nothing's going to be perfect, but I don't see why we can't at least discuss it objectively.
  11. Shouldn't the roof be white? I'll Get Me Coat
  12. UH certainly have a nose for non-original tractors
  13. There is a slight difference there, in that very nearly everyone speeding is doing so in a vehicle that is well within the manufacturer's limits. The braking systems, tyre speed loadings etc are all very capable of controlling those vehicles up to their maximum speeds.
  14. Looks good to me, they might be missing a few implements but as collectors, we have been asking for silage trailers, the Case/IH models and TM310. Maybe they put trailers ahead of other implements as they see more play value in a harvesting set up rather than a cultivation layout.
  15. Very nice. I think I'll go for the non-AG model even though I prefer the AG tyres. I know they can have front hitches, but more often that not, it's just the brackets for them on the ones I've seen. I also prefer the hardtop and the spare tyre is a nice touch that the AG doesn't have.
  16. I think it means Soloshep1 already makes some of them in the 1:32 scale
  17. I think that trailer would look really smart behind a Fastrac, but I don't understand that ladder? It looks too vulnerable when it in use and I can't see how it folds away without preventing the trailer from tipping if it folds under? I looked up the manufacturer, they seem a small company? Couldn't see a picture of the ladder on their website.

    Schuco 2010

The 626 is a brilliant tractor but they have managed to make it look like 'tat'. I've never seen that much chrome on tractor, I think Schuco have got farm machinery mixed up with lorries. But as long as collectors buy them, maybe not because they like them, but because they think there's money in it or out of an almost religious loyalty to have absolutely everything, then they will continue to fulfil that demand.
  19. It looks like they built the housing estate around it, how long has it sat for? What else is it sharing the field with?
  20. They could be onto a real winner here. UH et al. seem to be now be selling at prices that reflect the detail, whereas a couple of years ago, I would have said they were very cheap for what you got. Now that we're at the point where you can get 2 decent Britains models for the price of 1 UH type, they are starting to look a lot more attractive. It is also great to see trailers that you'd often get in the U.K; for me this is a massive selling point as I generally only buy things that I've actually seen in real life.
  21. This been posted yet? I know there is usually a million limited editions, but this one is at least different. Special edition model idee+spiel 2010, item 8506 Fendt 936 Vario with JOSKIN 3-axle tipping trailer, 1:32 scale, in construction site design. The Fendt 936 Vario and the 3-axle tipping trailer – a brand-new addition to the programme – are artificially coated with a totally realistic layer of limestone dust. Edition: 3,000 models
  22. I've just taken a possibly unoriginal 8730 out of it's box (bought second hand, I know it's missing stickers in the pic, they fell off) and noticed that behind the cab, there is some fairly deep gouges in the plastic. I'd like to know if this is bodged or standard. Could it be due to the centralised hitch vs. powerfarm offset hitch? (I don't have the powerfarm version to hand) Thanks.
  23. I'm not sure who is laughing most. In Europe the Fendt 818 on rows is £31.70, only £12 more expensive than a basic, unlimited 820. Bearing in mind the price of a converting a 818 to row crops would most likely cost you around £20, leaving you with a model possibly worth less in the future (if that is important to you) due to the fact a limited edition factory model exists, the price of the UH version appears good value. Maybe a better question is why does the Fendt become a third more expensive when it gets to the UK? Is it stock purchased during bad pound to euro rates? Some model companies in Europe offer free international postage on orders over 99 euros, I think I know where my £££s are going this winter.
