  1. Forcasters are predicting overcast skies on Sunday but with little or no rain.
  2. You must have needed a steady hand to do that delicate sodering! Is it going to be a PZ Zweegers?
  3. Silage clamp reserved by George Poole + probably a grain silo and diesel tank if he has any left, and the new Britains Massey.
  4. This man deserves a break Did you get any presents from your colleagues Sean?
  5. Yet more old Britains make-up trees for my expanding arboreteum and another powerfarm Jaguar for its crop guide and the fact it was cheap.
  6. Bloody Ebay, can't add to watch list (180 items) and yet I get "Problem Loading Page" when I try to delete any!
  7. Shedding 540kg of steel from the tub of my pickup, she can breathe easily again!
  8. Reversing a 12 tonne Marston with a JCB Loadall is fun! Reversing around a narrow obstacle course not so much.
  9. Ertl Case 2294 boxed. Hoped the cab would fit my David Brown 1690 conversion, but the arches are the wrong shape on the 1690.
  10. 6630 trundling through Stroud + scores of Claas, New Holland, Case, Masseys and more at Hartpury College.
  11. Passed my Rough terrain forklift/handler Lantra course, by the skin of my teeth I hate tests
  12. Driving to the scrap metal dealers only to find they have closed, so a wasted journey. Again.
  13. > AAAAAH! missed it: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150494954172&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT
  14. Hoping to get my hands on one at Toytrac, because I'm going to be patient
  15. Love the pics FB, looks a bit like me 28 years ago especially with the braces! Careful letting him into the front of the car on his own though, I was 7 when I leant on the handbrake sending my mum's pride and joy slamming into a car on sale in a garage forecourt Anyway back to the annoyance: 1. Not noticing a lens from my glasses pop out on college campus as I was map reading, only to find it at the end of the day in pieces. [angry emoticon] 2. Getting lost in Gloucester after taking a wrong turn. Signage in the suburbs is appalling 3. Driving all the way to a scrap merchants only to find they were closed and the realisation that I'll be hauling a tonne 1/2 of metal for the next few days, my poor spings, tyres etc. 4. Hearing that a placement I had high hopes for is not going ahead as the farmer has been advised to take a break by his doc and he needs someone with more experience! :'(
  16. First day of my rough terrain telescopic course at Hartpury using a JCB 526.56 doing basic maneuveurs and some pallet work and having enormous fun into the bargain! The instructor collects diecast farm stuff as well and was brave enough to admit he sold an Industrial Major/Shawnee for c£17 on Ebay!
  17. The sun certainly brought the chicks out in Hartpury today!
  18. Lots around Kemble in Gloucestershire: NH 8870 towing a folding harrow and Vaderstadt rolls; team of 3 NH's with a Grimme harvester and potato trailers and what looked like a Case STX Steiger pulling up stubble, plus 20/30 series john deere surrounded by hedge trimmers of various makes. There was much more including several Fendts with slurry tankers but I wasn't wearing my specs and we passed them too fast.
  19. All day at the Battle of Britain airshow in Kemble, highlights were a Lancaster, Hurricane, Spitfire, Airbus A380 and a Vulcan bomber. Only ruined by the weather at the end of the display plus the Dove transport plane my parents were due to fly in had a problem with its undercarriage and so had to abort before take-off.

    Harvest 2010

Equipment belonging to several farmers and a contractor I think Taz. Grain going to the big farm and the bloke who owns the Ford gets some straw. The big Massey and baler belong to a contractor. Not sure about the combine.

    Harvest 2010

And this lovely 7495 with a Hesston 4900 big square baler chased them round: Just after I took this photo the 7810 accidently hit the old gate post with the laden trailer, he wasn't square to it: Un-orthodox way of moving the bales (sorry for the poor quality I was some distance away)
