  1. I also posted about the same problem, but I just substituted the pliers by puting the tractor in drive and gently turning the rear wheels, works just the same as you are still turning the motor like you are with the PTO but without any potential damage to the PTO, I to sprayed WD/40 through the hole but also added an extra squirt once the motor was running, this method also works on the combine and forage harvester as they do not have a PTO to turn, the post is on here but was 2 or 3 years ago.
  2. Its not technically a new building its it? It looks like the old double shed with a gate and a fence instead of the panels. Looks like they do not have the gutter downpipes anymore either, still a handy building and another Britains realease.
  3. Never seen or heard of a County with a bubble cab on from Britains, it must be a replacement.
  4. Brought the Britains Quadtrac 600, looks good and the back end has something resembling a hitch instead of the usual lame drawbar.
  5. Steve Im glad you are leaving it as it is, they are quite rare and £60 was reasonable. I assume its unboxed at that price? Does the motor work? If not there is a thread on here somewhere detailing how to free it of and it usually works. Lay your hands on a yellow one if you can they are rarer still, I have two mint and boxed and I paid £5.99 each new when I was younger.
  6. I have a Britains Deutz DX a metal cab and that is very nicely made and finished.
  7. I think its the Willys army Jeep repainted with wider wheels, the trailer is the one that comes with the orange budget version Massey.
  8. My mate who works for a Case dealer has just got me a 956XL, not in a dealer box though, don't they do this anymore? Quite pleased with it and will put a review on Rate and Review.
  9. I will say 3500, but it could be the hour clock is broken or stopped, like all our old dumpers.
  10. If that goes for the same sort of money as the Spading one then it should fetch around £50/60.
  11. I brought the Farmmaster and the fastrac both boxed gold on plinth and I seem to remember paying £35 for the pair from Spalding a couple of years ago, but have seen them go for more than that for one on E bay.
  12. I have this house mint and boxed a picture of it is in my Britains only collection thread, mum and dad brought it for me new in 1989 and mum seems to think it was around £25. My version is a lot brighter red for the roof tiles, maybe its because it has always been boxed or it just could be different paint.
  13. I paid £5 for a boxed one at Spalding this october just gone, no cab though, still a bargin. I paid around £100 though for my other boxed one.
  14. David I think this may be a Rapael Lipkin toy, and would probably be worth a fair bit if you had it today.
  15. My top 5 owned models are Massey 2680 : I think it was the fact it was very easy to play with because you could push it along and steer easily with the front mudguards that I played with it so much as a youngster. My favourite Britains tractor. Kverneland variwidth plough: always looked good behined one of my yellow counties, even better that I have two yellow counties and two Kvernies. Duetz cattle lorry: Just loved this as a kid, but then always had a soft spot for lorries. Hughes ICI crop helicopter: Many thousands of acres dusted as a child. Case Magnum farmshow 2009: Streching it slightly as Britains but I like this model, yes the stars and stripes paintjob is a bit brash but its different. My Top five I would like are. The Red, blue, yellow and green Valmets. Gold Mercedes 1500 yellow Ford and Shawnee Hesston fiat Fordson Major. plus many many others.
