I have to say that I'm pleased with this: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=120201752618&ssPageName=STRK:MESO:IT&ih=002 ;)

Have a look at the user name for one of the people that bid it up. The less charitable might say that it sums it up quite nicely.

Is this Buy It Now not a bit hopeful? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BRITAINS-MASSEY-FERGUSON-3680-TRACTOR-AND-CROP-SPRAYER_W0QQitemZ290039832299QQihZ019QQcategoryZ117196QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

However, if he gets any bids on this I might change my mind: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=009&item=190040945378&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1 Good luck to him though.

I've found out a fair bit about it, thanks. I think that it'll be going back into the cupboard for a while. ;)
-
That said, always open to sensible offers.
-
Not sure yet. In no real hurry to sell. Will see what I can find out first.

This has come into my possession and will shortly be going up for sale on eBay. I don't know much about it. Is it rare? Can anyone help? It's item 5855 and the date on the box is 1989. Thanks.

just for fun , england tractor
daniel2267 replied to towse trading's topic in Latest Tractor Conversions & Scratch Builds
It arrived this morning. Excellent work Dave. Can't believe that it only made ?22, although clearly not complaining. Just think of the irony, a German tractor converted to English colours to mark England winning the World Cup in Germany-it'll be worth a fortune in years to come.............................. -
You tool the words right out of my mouth FP. Some of his prices are pretty reasonable and then there's the odd outrageous one slipped in for good measure.

I reckon you'll make a tidy profit out of that one. I've started it off, let's see how high someone will go to get it. -
At ?15, they either moved them on incredibly cheaply or G & M are trying to bankrupt themselves.
-
I've just ordered three from G&M for exactly the same amount that this chap paid for one.

What tractors did you see today without getting photos
daniel2267 replied to FB's topic in Farm Talk
MB Trac with a hedgecutter attached by the side of the A45 between Wellingborough and Rushden. I was doing about 85 so didn't get much of a look sadly. -
Yeah, but she wouldn't be much good for muck-spreading..................actually, come to think of it, she might.

Without question, UH I've got a couple of Joal ones. Nice models. Yes, to the loader I think that the green ones are a standard run. There's certainly far more of them about than the others.

If that's the case, then the decals are another thing wrong with it then. >

Not much thankfully. I think I paid about ?12 including postage. Swore a bit as soon as it arrived and then gave it to my four-year-old for carpet farming. Even he shuns it in favour of an ERTL Case CX80.

I got my fingers burnt with this. It was described as being in excellent condition and just missing the cab. The photo was a bit grainy and from a side angle. The seller had a good feedback history so I thought "what the hell". This is what I ended up with. The steering's knackered. The arms gone from the hitch. It's chipped to bu%?ery. The exhaust looks like it was bitten off and then there's the front..........
