  1. no rules have been broken! lots of fun had they wanted it that bad they got it. e bay would hve to do a lot to prove proxy bidding although this wasnt the case anyway.
  2. whatever its called the seller knew nothing about it , the price was run up for the fun of it
  3. sorry if mis understood sniping i am man enough to admit my mistakes. Your advice on bidding Mark appreciated and very valid points. IN this case i personally know the seller so it wasnt as dangerous as it could have been . The other person wanted goods that bad so why not make em pay lots of fun .
  4. serve them right for using snipes hee hee if they play dirty then so do i
  5. * EDIT * In answer to the question "what made you laugh today ?" people using snipes on e bay its so much fun deliberately running the price up for them, serve them right shouldnt be so sejfish. if they want it that bad then they will pay!
  6. nice looking - did the uk have an 845xl???

  8. my appologies for getting dates wrong and huge thankyou to powerrabbit

  10. a grey chassis mf 7480 has not been included on the list? thought they were doing a grey chassis version
  11. thats dated wrong for 1972!, the range was still chocolate/white until 1975 then the david brown/case range took over with poer red/white or orange and white. they used kramer axles
  12. the ap all purpose and lp low profile built by sekura not fritzmiere
  13. good for you matey, without skilled engineers they wouldnt have a job! you could do there job - but they couldnt do yours
  14. keep covering your arse mate, use reverse pyschology on them suggest ideas and let them take the glory in the knowledge you are one up on them.
  15. i bet its the same old story the planner is office based with no real practical knowledge of the job
  16. at least that siorocco safety cab did what it was designed to do and stopped the tractor from rolling over completely
  17. hope the fords are not a re hash of the recent ford 66/7600 models as they where woefully wrong! i wpersonally wouldnt give either of them shelf space
  18. its great that fords biggest white elephant range has been done in model form for prosperity, they certainly kept the dealers busy
  19. they told us at the training centre boreham house on an engine course to learn the engines well as we would be getting plenty of experience as the instructors admitted the engines were crap reliability wise and explained the porous block problem. i still have all the old service bulletins .
  20. i doubt very much if marge models would have found a 7610 this age without a cross block, so that itself makes/adds realism to the model in a bigway.
  21. cross block definitely a replacement in this age of tractor i did plenty of them, later force 2 onwards had cross blocks as standard. the ribbed cross blocks were to help stop cavatation of the water jacket by providing more metal in the blocks. the cavatation within the water jackets caused bubbles which poppped against the in line bores. which after a while made the castings go porous. cross blocks and inhibotor filters were last ditch attempt to save the ford engines .
  22. very good model even got a replacement short motor cross block in them, obviously the real thing copied had a porous block
  23. someone said that sort of thing- debate makes you go blind but i couldnt see who it was
