  1. looking really good, are you changing the wing mirrors as pre 3005 series didn't have the telescopic ones fitted if im correct, im looking at fitting 590 ones on my 2wd 3080 model
  2. i thought the same so removed like you have, then had some back plates made up in resin so i can attach various buckets etc on the loader without the large gaurd/frame like on the pallet tines, just click on and off like the originals
  3. too many projects on my work bench, have some part made models from a dear friend who died so finishing them in his memory, then a jd wide tyres and lime spreader, jcb js330, ifor Williams trailers, water bowser, sumo trio, sumo dts to name but a few
  4. did I read you have some mounted vardersat cultivators? if so please can I see a picture of them, they sound interesting
  5. fair fleet gav, updated a lot from the article a few years back in classic tractor were I work part time runs the following tm165 with bomford 81-81 with front 2.8m offset big cut (stripe) topper tm150 with mid mounted herder 8.5 meter reach case mxm155 with bomford falcon 6.5t (machine I drive) newholland t7220 and big cut 2meter offset bank mower the two tm's mainly do environment agency work and the herder has a heavey duty 1.8 meter head that bashes down large hedges/bushes, the tm's have serious balace on them as they have to weight 8 tons min to go on the large drainage board jobs, you can still get the tm165 on 2 wheels side ways!!! im not doing much flailing now as mainly at the john deere dealership, not been the same since selling my flailing business
  6. whats the 6230 like balance wise with the falcon6t on? I sold my spearhead 590 excel to a bloke who has a 6320 and he is having trouble with it been to heavey, he has had to fit front linkage to push the weights forward. Im now driving a bomford falcon 6.5t on a case 155mxm, great balance match for tractor flail, wouldn't fancy it on a 100hp tractor. what controls are you using, were on the ics, the top spec option, its a dream to operate.
  7. top work, were can you get the figures from to buy?
  8. looking good, to add to the above thoe, i work for a big jd main dealer, we just sent a 7280r out on a 62 plate and it aint got big indicator stalks, you could be right that early ones had them but lastest ones dont, keep up the good work
  9. crew cab pickup and a sumo trio would be good, a simba sl or sld to update the solo to keep with the times and a 5/6/7f plough
  10. my dad got among wheat today, got rape finnished 2 weeks ago, mad rush to get mopped up as farm has been sold and machinery sale is 2nd week in sept so must get finnished, rain due for next 3 days thoe
  11. saw you were there peter, never had a word thoe, did i see you are doing decal kis for the motart transit vans separate? ment to come back and look but ran out of time, hope trade was good, was a good turn out at the rally
  12. combine looks good, as said header spoils it, we have the real thing as our work demo this year, one on wheels and one on tracks
  13. woke up this morning, mate txed me about a tractor in local plant sale on I buyer, sounded cheap, and it was, got it bought! looked like a IH 3434 air compressor and loader, after digging might be a whitlock, think it may have been a good day all round (apart from now when i told my fiancee ive bought another tractor)
  14. after speaking to phils brother the other nite he has asked me to say a big thankyou to all who have posted in this topic, also robin asked me to say a big thanks to all who attended the funeral, especialy those who travelled over from ribble vally etc, the church was packed and it was said around 300 people were in attendance.
