A very impressive display John. Well done, it must have taken you a long time to build the collection. I also spotted the auto gift set, a very rare piece, looks nice condition too. Well done, look forward to future posts.

It does seem a little over priced but as Sean says it has the decals from the land rover so is slightly more sought after, if you are that pedantic about Britains that is (as I am!). I have this model with the Land Rover 'sheep' decals in an original box so they do defiantly exist.

Britains Ford Powerfarm 8830. Have these vastly increased in value or just a one off high price? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/281112912931?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649

Some very nice purchases by people! However, not many Britains model buys posted up. Is Zwolle not a Britains show or are people just moving more to other brands?

Debtoy buildings
jaywilli7610 replied to david_scrivener's topic in Other Farm Figures and Accessories
Interesting topic. I cant say i've come across 'Debtoy' before. Will follow updates closely. -
I do it in a day purely because of work commitments. I will admit it is a long day but well worth it. From Aber it would be a rather long journey to do in a day. There are plenty of b&b's in the area. Many FTF members in the vicinity could point you in the right direction.

Elgan were about are you from? Im from North East Wales and this will be the 3rd year ive travelled to Spalding. I go all over the country to toy/model fairs and Spalding is by far the best! Well worth a trip.

I've noticed these making good money recently and can't really understand why. This casting has been about for years and yet the Claas variations still seem to command good prices. Would be interested to hear why people think this is the case.

Interesting item, can't say i've seen too many. I belief there were at least two of these in the Niels Fisher collection? Would be interesting to know if anyone kept the auction results.

Hear, hear, well said! I must agree, Britains has for too long now taken undue criticism. We must remember Britains' history, heritage and current customer figures, and give these achievements due credit. I have the Valtra model in various forms, all of which are great quality and authentic when considering the era in which they were produced and their price, sub £15.

2Nd Year Nd Agriculture Student Seeking Part/full Time Work
jaywilli7610 replied to jordantaylor's topic in Farm Talk
Sorry to hear about your plight Jordan. Although I must say Agriculture in any form is a difficult, underpaid and thankless job! Its is the ability to stick at a job (especially when you don't like it) that will set you apart from the crowd when the time really matters! Just keep your head down, work hard, keep up the good work gaining qualifications and tickets and doors will eventually open. -
I've just stumbled across this website. http://www.britainsheraldfarm.co.uk/index.html Great site, really informative and some very rare items to see.

Thanks for posting. Looks to be some really interesting additions. Great to see a few new implements as well as tractors! Absolutely brilliant to see Britains getting back into the game! Long may it continue!

Andy, is this an internet auction only? Is there a chance to see the lots up close? -
britains mf 200 trailers colour variations
jaywilli7610 replied to Tractorman810's topic in Britains Farm Models
Some very interesting reading, great topic. I must admit I didn't realise there were so many variations. I have the lime green trailer (with MF decals) and know of a couple of others but never in a box. Great find there Milo. -
Well as usual I have left it last minute to book a room saturday night. Where is everybody staying? Is there room for a little one as they say and can anybody recommend anywhere?

Really nice conversion, good work -
Looks great so far. How did you make the stalls?

What are these Britains Jeeps worth?
jaywilli7610 replied to MuirHillyBilly's topic in General Hobby Discussion
Kentman is spot on with that valuation id say. Not a commonly seen model but still doesn't command high price. I suspect as it is 'budget' no-name model. Mint boxed example would be nice addition to collection. -
Layout looks great! You must have spent alot of time on it. Keep the updates coming
-
Agree with Andy on that £100-120 would be good price for the two. Great finds well done
-
Great find there. Looks to be in great condition. I bought the complete boxed set with playbase a few months back. really nice set and not one you see often. Only problem is the door doesnt seem to fit properly. Please could you post some close up photos of your door so i can see what mine is missing?
-
Would be a good buy at £20 plus postage, well done bill bought this for about £40 wen it came out, have seen them since for less and alot more. depends what someone is willing to pay, especially as this is a nice model.
-
Great stuff thanks for that. do you know how many were produced? also what would be a reasonable price to pay?
-
Has anyone ever seen or heard of this model? Saw one at Spalding but was unsure of its authenticity. Unfortunatly didnt get a photo. LR is blue with paper decals for the 50th aniversary of chester zoo. any info would be greatly appreciated.
