pettit 8 ton tipper
MJB1 replied to Tractorman810's topic in Latest Implement Conversions & Scratch Builds
really nice build sean can we se it hitched to a ford please ooh...............um.....err.. thats not right must have been something i ate -
surely it must be just a cheap to buy the purpose built bags with the tie string's already fitted . years back you used to be able to order feed in the tie spout tote bags that system looks ok & i dare say the tubing comes of & leaves the bit screwed to the bag in place , but having seen farmers handle tote bags/ fert bags i cant see them lasting very long \

more like the driver had his head up his a£$e while day dreaming or rolling a ciggarette before he hit the bank ! Be surprised if brake failure on an empty trailer that size would affect a tractor that size & power with 4wd braking. the only other thing to do that would be a severe stamping on the left hand brake when they wern't latched together i've done some stupid things over the years , but only on a few occasions has it been the fault of the machinery verdict : driver error

nice trailer gav , just the thing for the more sensible sized carpets farmers here whats the news on the pearson potato harvester ? would be a great pairing to see a nice big renault on the harvester & the ford hauling -
i probably did but can't reacall anything different about it

feeling a bit narked & defeated now , as i have a very dissapointed 10 year old with a xmas game he cant play :'( :'( :'(
-
ha , don't even go there mate but at least i have a decent tail gate on my trailer now unlike the old 8 wheeler yeah can blow into a shed or trailer if needs be

just wondering really if there was a download or a complimentary disc he could get down loaded on any PC , as he has a number of PC's to use here , home & nanny's how do you find out what graphics card is fitted ?
-
so i'm assuming the 'bottle opener' triangular DB type decal went just before CASE bought into the company although i think the existing David Brown company still use this logo today

got some really nice kit at home there tim , seen it plenty of times & still find the 6030 2wd an oddity to look at & i still reckon the MF350 is the best tractor on the farm now i know tims not as old as some on here , but a few years back i was tipping feed in a shed & a very young chap who looked about 10 was using a jcb to push the feed up & believe me he was as good as any JCB driver ive seen in a while ! good going mate , c'mon lets have a look see at the 6030 2wd mate
-
ah best get a bulk bin then mark , & thats a convo job for either farmer marshal or 4C as i don't do bags , as well you know !
-

right young thomas ha the farming simulator 2009 game for xmas, but we cant seem to get it to run without a 3d graphics programme or it needs a shader 2 programme ? i havent got a clue what any of this means , so would appreciate the replies as a step by step idiots guide please can anything be downloaded to get it started or is there a cost for another programme to be bought & installed ? what i want to know is whats the point of buying a game you cant play , totally beyond me i'm afraid

good idea , seen a few articles on this system in truck magazines , even seen one system , that has different attatchments for a 4x2 unit, consisting of flatbed + trailer , a cement mixer with it's own axle, making it a 6x2 to carry the weight & also become a recovery outfit .

nice work sean , i liked those trailers , well built & if looked after lasted years , only had experience with 10 tonne versions on corn , but as good as any other out there -
oh using BOCM feed are we ?

got to agree with the SG2, a nice cab to spend the day in although after a while you adopt a lean to the right driving position when it a good one it's a good cab to work in although in the winter it's a pain when one of the widscreen wipers stops working \ also used to drive me nuts as due to the size front screens the wipers dont work in sync great hedge trimming tractors
-
ah nice start rich, nice to see the size board you're using as manage able , at leats you can add to reach whatever size you want , as for backing , the blue walpaper is good , but not sure on the industrial size radiators in the distance
-
thats the fella rich , he was telling me the NH wasn't a patch on the JCB wouldn't last 5 mins doing what the JCB does , the visibility was another issue he had with it . trouble is the JCB has done nearly 6000 hours & he's having trouble with the torque converter , or whatever powers the transmission nowadays, so it wasn't being used , he was also expecting a brand new one later in the week so it's effectively retired !

no need to mark , the whole beef unit is on an old ww2 runway complex so nothing to catch it on
-
now from a farm in wales with a very good idea for his 956 but maybe not quite for what you'd think ? & no it's not for permanently tow starting , this farm has euro style silage heaps , lots of silage heaps over a large area , & one worker looks after 1000 acres , & a major beef job that keep him busy , so how does he keep machinery moving around by himself , well he doesn't take one machine out then walk back for the other , oh no brilliant ! some of the welsh chaps may have heard of them , lyn jones , from bury port ,Nr pembury race course i think , he runs two volvo FH 16 cattle transporters ,always at the markets
-
still from the same farm they also had a few more fords & I-H about the place but not going to wonder off looking at them
-
got quite a selection here for you to have a look at , i think , the first pics to post will be all from one farm
