  1. sorry chaps i dont know if its a dedicated mower or a swaper, i do know thats it's on a fairish size estate , so i would imagine it was a mower unit,
  2. get someone to wash someone elses lorry some drivers struggle to wash their own bill ! no i wash mine when i can , trouble is we have 10 lorries in our yard & it's a free for all to get to the power washer sometimes , not helped by the fact the diesel tanks are situated right next to the wash bay , to get a half decent wash on my truck in this state takes up to an hour & a half but just road film it's a bit quicker
  3. :D yeah right , we managed to corner a bull & lead it into an ifor williams cattle box years back , as the rear gate was put up the boss jumped out of the access door at the front only to be followed by a none too happy hereford :D he was a big old feller as well (the bull not the boss) but after a bit of a struggle he came through & no his mood hadn't lightened, the biggest surprise was the access door & frame wasn't bent or damaged , don't think the bull was that bothered as off he went with bits of electric fence hedgerow ,barbed & high tensile wire following in his wake , we managed to find him the next day in a neighbours field of heffiers a few miles away .......... \
  4. nice pics tim , looks like you got the hang of PB , got a fair bit of kit as well chap , but shouldn't that NH on the feeder be 2wd ?

when it's installed , you just right click on the pic , then one of the options will be resize pics , click that than it gives you 4 different sizes to choose , it will then give you a pic the size you want & keep the original as it is ,

  11. i think it has to be the MF 3000 series tractors , they were the first main line electrical reliant tractors of course the others followed in time after waiting for the major reliability problems that may have occurred. Once it was proved the step forward into the electrical age wasn't as hard as many thought the doors opened for the competing manufacturers to join suit. It's tribute to these MF tractors that many are still working hard & commanding recent resale values today nearly 20 years on . Unfortunately my 300 series experience is limited to a bit of ploughing, baling , trailers & hedgetrimming, & thought MF made a mistake of giving them electrical facelifts
  12. it's not too bad rich , i use my sat nav more for timing really, some tickets ask for ETA or state ring before delivery so it's a handy tool for those reasons , although , my navagators atlas does most of the work & is well thumbed ! most farms i get to with no problem , if i can get to the area , i phone the farmer for directions in , unlike a few drivers who follow the sat nav every step of the way & end up where they shouldn't ought to be \ i,m getting to know my vague way about to our farms pretty well so i think i'm doing alright . but it can be awkward when you ask for directions to be asked where are you now driver ,to look at the sign of a place thats spelt with ten letters using no vowles had an easy day on saturday , 3 drops at two farms ,i could almost reverse out of one farmers yard & straight into the others ! over at Llanpumpsaint , when you going to get me up at your place for a delivery then ? getting quite a bit of work over the bridge , of which another feed delivery firm driver told one of our drivers , hello mate hows it going ? good is it ? well good for you cos MVF are stirring the welsh mills right up , matter of fact you lot are bloody hated over yur you are to then follow up with , hey look drive if they ever open a mill here put in a word for me as our company's crap to work for :D well considering we're suposedly hated , we get an awfull lot of other firms waving at us but then tanker drivers wave at each other all the time as do bulk drivers, drivers are a strange bunch at times \ :D
  13. looks rather uncomfortable in that spec although having said that there's quite a few 2wd NH tsa series tractors about , the member Manor Farm family has the uk's only 6030 i suppose it comes down to what you want it for , some farms may just want high HP 2wd tractors after all the 2640 2wd was a very popular tractor as was the ford 8100
  14. ok while i'm here, is there anywhere that supplies replacement tracks?
  15. looks like a top day was had mike , lots of bright paintwork :) like the use of the word surreptitiously, not used half as much as it should be
  16. well seeing as it says cheeses press on the plaque i think we can safely assume it's a cheese press mate
  17. i think it's more suited to the 240 , so old style would suit the trailer not these new fandangled colours
  18. thanks bill havent's a clue mate , i read the ticket , punch it into the sat nav & follow best i can , i'm not a regular around those parts \
  19. so does this mean they'll do it in proper MF colours , all red with yellow wheels or red body , black chassis & silver wheels
