  1. well done chap , nice little tractor for a the haybob !

  3. nice to see yer enjoying yourself young luke with the fleet up to strength , you must cover a fair old area, & often see follow on behind your lot when delivering up round south molten ,barnstaple, brayford & ilfracombe way, whats the CB channel & i'll give you a call when i'm next up round there you never know i might get hold of you & your lot

  6. flexicoil .............. vaderstad rolls.................... rare ................... ahem ............. i'm off to look at the parts of these machines i have left, from convo builds :'( :'( :'(
  7. have a look at these topics martinr these are BOR's 3000 series tractors with the ertl cabs .it gives you a pretty good idea as to how it all fits together the mix n match can work really well http://www.farmtoysforum.com/forum/index.php?topic=26472.0 http://www.farmtoysforum.com/forum/index.php?topic=24653.0 you don't need to replace the whole cab on the county just the roof . if you have a britains county then the ford SQ type roof can be removed & be replaced with a tw20/7710 roof the cab structure itself has slight differences between the tw20/7710& 5610 cab & the tw25/35/8630/1884 cab but the roof is an interchangeable item
  8. good thing about that windrower reece , is that it was also the same base as the grimme colt stone & clod seperator , the only difference was it had a coveyor on the rear for the removal of clods & stones into the wheel markings
  9. blimey rick well typed , i thought you'd glued you fingers together in that paper folding accident \ that was almost readable :D not sure i like the term 'juicers' or 'limeys' & before you start any more ameryankian speaking , I'll warn you I'm quite fluent in yanky doodle dandy, yo dude whats goin down usually in the said somewhere in the states , probably as we speak ! & a good southern one would be shiiiiiiiiyut he wuz happyer than a dead hawwg in the suuuunnn there you go ! now look chaps you should use English in which to type not text talk, but then the american use of the English language is slightly twisted . nah ricks one of the good guys ,he's almost like one of those Greek philosophers he talks lots but not often makes sense \ yep he fits right in with the rest of us :D enjoy your time here
  10. anybody know when the coldridge collection open day isthis year , as knowing my luck it's going to clash with truckfest which i'm thinking of entering :'( :'( last year i think the dates clashed
  11. just printing off my entry form for truckfest southwest as i type ! might be 3 of us attending 2 volvo's & a scania
  12. not bad for a 14 year old ? not bad full stop , good convo mate i'll not hold my breath ben
  13. welcome to the forum chap , ertl farm toys , early tractors , i think many members here will help , but i think asking for our help was a mistake you'll be surprised how much of your money we can help you spend :D :D
  14. I think most of the members here feel the same way about models mate unless you're a proper collector like lord ferguson , who would & quite rightly collect any MF model produced by any brand ie; britains, ertl etc.. But some of us want a well represented model & britains created a howler with the 3680, matter of fact there's very little right about it , the floorpan & cab is the obvious to start with but the bonnet isn't really correct either. The bonnet & grill is more suited to the smaller 36series tractors , the 3670 /80 /90 tractors had more of a square grill than rectangular, but like many a quick & simple cab change will transform these tractors to a reasonable representation of the tractor you want . I never wanted the ertl 3000 series tractors as i think the cab looks wrong & the wheels too big , but BOR has built some cracking models from them .

know what you mean gav , farm i delivered to yesterday have the same attitude to their machinery suppliers, they used to be MF , nothing else got a look in, till the 6000 series came in , brand product was poor & so was the dealer backup, so many branches closed over the years , there wasn't a 'local' dealer just up the road anymore, they changed to JD & were very happy with the 00,10 series tractors , but the 20 & 30 series has been a disaster for them, a change of greenery now sits in the yard in the guise of 2 new deutz tractors , re-newed dealerships are pushing the german brand hard in my area, & getting sales
  16. that looks nice paul , new rey cab ? only asked as it doesn't look deep enough for a sleeper , seems like you & tris are going to clear up with the straw haulahe this year what with his MAN F2000 ! am currently badgering the office to look at the new TGS 480 MAN for when mine's chopped , as im not keen on having a Scania G470
  17. cracking models mate & the real deal was a corker too , as for the red wheels , i really dont have a problem with them * deep breath * .... *grit teeth*.... *breath out & sigh* the problem i have is that most people who do refurbs always seem to paint the wheels red when i bet their particular tractors were silver when they were sold bit like all the imaculate 168's i see at shows , cabless ? why ? the 168 was never relased as a cabless model except for export ? & considering they all sport uk plates they should all have cabs on ! like the topic mate
  18. lovely model , that well done martin on all accounts , but i was tempted to buy the 690 4wd he had on display \
  19. i don't expect so mate , when blake said he'd seen one in the flesh i wasn't sure if he meant the tractor or the model , there was one at spalding , & i don't want to disrespect the converter if he's a member here , but the paintwork was good , BUT the decals let it down awfully, nice grey bonnet the a slab of red with white decals , sorry all wrong & if yer going to give it a rareity value a decent box wouldn't be a bad idea & tell people its a conversion . if it is a genuine ltd edition UH, then i'm sorry i'll not be buying it pretty sure mark , if it were for real , we'd have known about it fairly early on , surprising what our members find out
  20. is this a genuine UH release ? i have also seen a grey & gold 5480 , but i'm sorry, if it were for real then would they really have the tractor model number in white on a red background ? the one i saw looked simply wrong UH did the white 50th model , fair enough i have one, but the decals match the tractor , i don't beleive they'd do a model like this
  21. nothing today but last sat after a meal out with friends at 1145pm i was stopped by the police for driving too slowly ok the embaressment at that is bad enough , but when asked if i'd been drinking i replied i'd only had 3 pints of coke, ( i dont drink when driving , i very rarely drink when i'm not driving ) he then took my licence back to his car for a check within 5 mins he gave me my licence back & wished me a safe journey home . what i'm annoyed about is that i didn't get a breath test ! surely thats the first thing they'd insist on isn't it ? i wonder how many idiots are driving around two sheets to the wind & getting away with it !
