MASSEY FERGUSON 3095 DYNASHIFT
MJB1 replied to B O R's topic in Latest Tractor Conversions & Scratch Builds
nice conversion mate , very mouthwatering -
wow all looking good mate , but where's the lime green & purple we discussed
-
looks very tidy cerin , shame it's for a customer & not yourself mate , would suit you i reckon
-
nidn't have a rear grill plate sean , although i did get one on the last visit to rons & the r/h battery pannel wasn't there when i bought it , but i have got a new one to go on
-
thanks john , i'm thinking about a visit to ron greets again to have a look through his tyre heap , maybe if the price is right a possible wheel tyre combination up yo 32 / 34 in rims , maybe it'll be cheaper than looking for new or part worn tyres
-
nice to get on & forget about daily grind mate running condition ? yes all well but have concerns with the multi power at the moment mate , seems to lose high , when working on the slopes if driven clockwise round the fiels , got some theorys & filters , lever adjustment , & maybe a worn seal letting it drop the working pressure a bit , but got an expert (uncle brian) coming to look at it , & great help from marky & his massy chums one day mate one day & as for the cab , yes it has to go on some day as the 168 was never released as a cabless model , unless for export that is looks proper doesn't it mate er thanks mate \ ah proper tractors with bits to hit with a hammer for proper repairs
-
yes quite traquil & slow paced isn't it all done mate & i'm as narked as you,got nothing to do now till dung spreading

massey ferguson 690 conversion
MJB1 replied to Paul Palmer's topic in Latest Tractor Conversions & Scratch Builds
i think these tractors just like the ford 10 series have a unmistakeable character to them tris -
2 fergies ? 1 fergie you mean , but then you have got yer own 5455's to haul about as well mate
-
as you can see not much grass here as the horses are constantly out grazing pics didn't come out too bad considering they're taken on the phone while i was rolling i felt a wave of nostalgia wash over me from doing the same thing years ago with a cabbed 165 after steaming up & down the motorway week in week out , this is such a relaxing change
-
just seeing it all parked up makes me smile mark , but actually working with it gives great satisfaction well all the chain harrowing done so next job was rolling because of some of the slopes & the fact no hay is taken from the padocks a cambridge roller is enough , a 3T roller would be a bit much for the old girl especially on these tyres as there are a few wet patches to cover as well

NEW HOLLAND 339/342 yellow double chops
MJB1 replied to B O R's topic in Latest Implement Conversions & Scratch Builds
like the foragers brian, just like the real thing , but smaller \ never used one , but have hauled away from one ,can't remember the model number, powered by a ford 7810 on mown fields , was a real power sapper , think it may have been easier with a standing crop. i hauled away with a little 4100 & teagle tiger trailer -
looking great mark , cattle shed, machenery, straw barn or just cattle & straw always good to see you doing something mate
-
always good to get on & go sean , even if it's just for a few miles drive out round the village wasn't exactly a heatwave down here yesterday john, all day was coat on , coat off , coat on , coat off ! just glad bill's zetor doesn't start ,as i'd have nothing to do :D nah , bill's in his 70's so is happy to let me just get on & do :)
-
view from the umm......................other field & thats how i spent my day ! (thats chain harrowing not hiding behind gates) was in no hurry , only 10 acres or so & had to watch out for the horses as i went from field to field ,i thouroughly enjoyed meself just messing about although the horses wern't that interested
-
view from the err...cab..........less \ view down on to the house down in the valley
-
done too many hours again so had to have a few more days off & seeing as the weathers been good the last week Mad's dads padocks were dry enough to get on for some chain harrowing. Bill has trailed harrows not mounted & are rolled up in the shed so once they were gotten out, off i went !
-
