  1. two different shades of red this time same iron 165 & an MF65
  2. back again , first off the oldestm lorry on the fleet, it's because of the reliability of this lorry that new scania's are being ordered they seem to have forgotten that it's twin was nothing but trouble & cost a small fortune in repairs which is why it was sold in for her last MVF fleet service she's on an N plate , with 988272 km's & just one more month to serve then she'll either be sold on , or just scrapped bit of orange for gav
  3. as long as it's all uptogether mechanicly it would certainly be an interesting rebuild , other than that all it needs is a bit of paint simons right though , i daresay it looked the part when it was first cobbled together, they'd basicaly built a tractor to the spec they wanted ! shame to see these sometimes remakable one off's being left to rot away
  4. nice to see a ttv chassis still sporting the other shade of green , most ttv chassis now wear red nice build mate
  5. very nice work john , will you also be making the removeable grill guard come loader stand to go with it as well ?
  6. making a few adjustments to the toetip bucket, some blood & an empty elastoplast packet
  7. looks like a fair build you have on the go fendthead , look forward to seeing this finished , will the front wheels be bought in a bit as it looks to have a hellish track width !
  8. don't think as drivers we havn't asked mate , but like all transport managers who can't actually do the job....................................they know best
  9. looking good mate really good why the tag instead of a dual drive or 2nd steer/pusher ? not that it matters a decent coat of paint will transform it no end manager said i wouldn't be getting a volvo when mines replaced , so it looks like i'm resigned to a scania mate , although i did ask for either a T cab or a longline , he didn't have any leaflets & said 'leave it with me i'll look into it'
  10. well if it's any help chris , it's registered on a C plate so looking at 1983 / 84 ?
  11. nice result johny , would shudder to think how much your parts bin is worth :)
  12. yep after all a true green fan would either be looking for a fendt or a deutz
  13. massey went all red cab in about late 1980 /1 the top jag is an SF70 & the second is a 682 i think never said there was a deere you'll need a few £ coins to get that one right mart ! front axle needs replacing completely mate severe lack of maintainance for that one i'm afraid 70SF colm , thats his 'spares' machine , the other 70 was at his brothers farm to which i cant get to with the artic, but i sort of went out the way just to find this one for pics for malcy_p few more on his scratch build topic
  14. well as it happens adam , marky does have a green tractor that believe it or not actually belongs there

  16. if i'm ever out that way again i'll try to get pics of the good one mate
  17. sorry malcy not great pics , but like i said she's here for spares the big wheels arnt that big surprisingly , they're only on 26" rims, on big tyres , so only really need to be looking at britains MF362 rears / britains ford TW35 fronts for your drive axle. all going well though mate , any updates ?
  18. ooop's i maybe dropping a spanner in the works till i saw it again the machine i'm thinking of is a late different model an SF70 i managed to go in the direction of the farm i knew had one unfortunately he only has the one he breaks for spares the good one is at a farm i cant ner to with an artic
  19. 560 round baler really ? mines the older plain white cover , & covers all the 100 series both flexi cab & rigid tractors & 1080 & 1200
  20. used to work at a grass drying plant , we had one there , we used to call it auntie :D good tools but it was manual gears & on a machine like that we went through a fair few clutches , & it would do 25mph if you were brave enough & lifting 1.5 tons at full height wasn't much fun either the tyres made it sway a fair bit \
