can remember hauling trailers alongside one of those & the later series 2 turbo'd 8210's , sounded sweet , matter of fact the whistle drowned uot the noise of the forager ! :D happy days :)

why not try plastic tubing stephen ? for that i drilled into my workbench 5 - 6 mm, then inserted the pipe & with just a gentle heat from a lighter from beneath it will bend upwards of it's own accord
