  1. An update from today - and closure of my part/issue with this topic and TopTractor. I today received, as promised by Geoff, my outstanding eBay purchase. Many, many thanks Geoff. From what I understand Geoff is attempting to sort out as much of the outstanding items as he can. The TT eBay account hasn't been closed and the website is still active. So TT may be back at some point in the future.

    Weise-Toys 2010

Bought a green Weise 615 two weeks ago Sean at the Taunton Toy Fair. Dealer box. Guy had two and as far as I know second one is still available. £45. He'll be at the Shepton Toy Fair this Sunday.
  3. We'll have to await UH to release photos of the actual models, they'll be posted on the net as soon as they are.
  4. Farm Models has a pictures of the modelled New Holland T6020 (without loader), Ford 7810 and MF 7480 here http://www.farmmodels.co.uk/tables/New%20UH.htm
  5. Mine arrived yesterday....in pieces The top half of the hopper is only glued to the bottom part, glued has failed and the two halves have come apart. Consequently in transit the top half rattle around in the box and damaged the paint. Pity about the inability to mount on a tractor without mods.
  6. Message received this morning: 'sorry to say Toptractor has ceased trading, however your purchase is ok as its a sold item but at moment all is held until I can get things sorted, but please be assured I will get this item sent to you and keep you updated'. A sad day for the hobby. Suspect anyone with outstanding orders with TT needs to check how they stand. Mine was an eBay buy so I'll wait a while and see then if necessary raise a claim on eBay/PayPal if nothing is forthcoming. I'm only the messenger in this.....I used to have frequent contact with Geoff and was heavily involved in building his website. However 15 months ago he decided on a business direction and I haven't spoken to him or had any contact with him since except as a very occasional customer. To me it would appear that the business decision and the economic climate have caused TT's demise.
  7. All of the recent negative feedback is from one buyer, the rest is fine. I'm awaiting something from him at the moment. Got a mail earlier in the week saying he'd been ill but they may just be a smoke screen. I'll wait a few more days and see what happens and if nothing arrives then I'll escalate...........other dealers can be slow to deliver as well.
  8. Supposed I am Noel, only in regards to that one though Today I picked up a Dealer boxed Weise Fendt 615LSA. this cost me £45-00, whixch I suppose is about the right price? Anyone confirm....
  9. I paid £25 for mine from a Lemken dealer Sean. Bargain I thought.........
  10. Cucumber sandwiches is about all you could eat in your current state hey Marky
  11. My daughters got an 07 Cooper. Fantastic to drive, they do handle well, but it's a bit like driving a letter box with the low ride hight and short wide windscreen. Ok for short journeys not so good on long.
  12. Well you never invited me into the MM even though I've got all that MF experience so what else could I do Actually I think Claas Crew sounds better Claas Club. So Claas Crew it is! Anyone else wanna join!!
  13. In that case Ben you are more than welcome to join the Claas Club. A superior organisation for a superior product
  14. All the details are here - http://www.toyfair.co.uk/ but no list of exhibitors as far as I can see, though they may post a list nearer the date. At last years London Fair there was virtually no diecast model exhibitors, possibly only the Hornby Group. Reckon this years could be the same. Nuremburg has become The Toy Fair, this year it runs from 4 to 9 February. So all the new stuff will probably be announced/shown first week in Feb.
  15. Could be slightly more difficult but they'd still be there if you can get to the hard drive even if you'd formatted it. Only problem would be if it had written over the top of them more than 10 times..good old DOS, never actually deletes anything
  16. Coming up for auction in the US in a weeks time - a large Farm Model collection including a lot of MF models.......... See http://www.aumannauctions.com/auction_pages/auc_page.php?pid=14099
  17. Even if you did actually delete them Sue they should still be on your computer. It should be possible to recover them, you just need to talk to the right IT Techie!
  18. I use an Olfa P-Cutter P800 for sheet/flat cuts. Cuts a grove in the plastic and you can then just snap for a clean edge. They have a smaller version P450 as well. For strip/rod etc and angles I use an X-Acto razor saw and as required an aluminium mitre block. See here http://www.olfatools.eu/category.php?id_category=21 for the P-Cutters Olfa also have a Compass cutter which is great for circles. Pic on the same page.
  19. Thanks Sean. In reality designed to fit UH as standard. Not really a problem though. When I get hold of one I can think of about 4 UH tractors would like to moubnt it on.
  20. Thanks Sean. Be very interesting to see the results of the 'mounting' tests!
  21. Looks a nice model Sean. Like the hitching method, means it should fit a variety of model manufacturers tractors. Hopefully I can get one at the Westpoint Toyfair on the 10th.
  22. No problem Dan, happy to help. Check here http://www.bulldogfairs.com/shepton.htm for confirmation of Shepton dates.
