  1. If you were in the queue for these and they had any left when you got to the front then you could buy as many as you wanted (and they had left). In theory the first person could have bought all 100!
  2. That is one of the worst Britains models for plastic rot. I had two in the same box, last time I looked at them they were just of box full of melted plastic components, completely fallen apart. If its reasonably rot free then it could be worth a lot more than one would expect! What is that behind the belt at the bottom end?
  3. Useful, but as you say 'almost complete'. Does it list 'standard' box models only? Also what do the characters before the reference number represent?
  4. Great item, well detailed. Only downside is I can only get it to fit a Siku tractor. Won't go on UH or Britains. I'd recommend the 3m version over the 6m.
  5. An extentable low-loader perhaps? Adding more axles to it are you Tris?
  6. A UH Cargo Trailer I picked up cheaply on Ebay arrived this morning. Unpacked it and the model reeks of cigarette smoke and has a brown film all over it, erghhhhhhh. Now going to have to wash and leave it somewhere where it won't stink the house out. Ebay should have a rule about declaring items that come from smokers.
  7. Yep they are HO scale. Good detail, just like Wiking, Herpa but they are kits. Need building and decals etc applying.
  8. Depends on whether you want to keep their value as original toys or have good examples to display etc. Melting wheels (and other things) are well known on most Britains Farm toys upto the mid 90's. It got better towards the later date. Ford 5000/6600 and Fiats are probably the worst but I've seen Counties, MF's and implements with the same melt problem to a lesser degree. Britains collectors are well aware of the problem and happy to buy/accept the models with melt with no problem. I'd leave well alone unless you really want to change the wheels but remember by doing so you could be knocking 50 to 75% off their.
  9. In a word Joe....No. May not even be released in 2008. From what I was told their HO and N gauge items get priority and the 1.32nd items will be released when they have the time and are ready. Personally I would like them tomorrow but something to look forward to.
  10. Well let me know if you want anyting Claas then. I'm in Honiton at least once a week!! Also oredering stuff via Claas dealer saves you around 30/40%. I got the UH Claas Liner about a month ago, only £32 from Hamblys Honiton. £49 elsewhere! Just waiting for the Tucano to be released and I'll be giving them a call for 2 at least.
  11. The Honiton Branch has a fairy good stock, think thats where PR goes. If they haven't got it in stock they will order and save it till your ready to pick-up. Also no small order charge or postage added when they have to order it in unlike a certain MF dealer near Okehampton!!
  12. I've just had my 'usual' BFA shop on the phone to advise me of the announcement. They offered 15% discount if I advance order! Strange as it was a struggle to get 10% out of them previously. Not sure if I will order one, would like to see a better photo first before deciding.
  13. Looks like a NewRay conversion. There is a better picture of it in Classic Tractor this month.
  14. No fixed scale, each model is different. Some have been as large as around 1/12th, some as small as around 1/20th.
  15. At a cost of £495 Bill I hope its accurate. Nice to see BFA attempting some 80's kit.
  16. Here you go Joe http://www.modelshop24-landmaschinenmodelle.de/shop2/index.php?user=Agrartoy&proid=1818 http://www.modelshop24-landmaschinenmodelle.de/Agrartoy-p1819h319s321-John-Deere-6930-Wiki.html
  17. I'll probably go but like Tris it will be last minute decision. Also weather dependant. Photos shouldn't be a problem, not sure about video! Photos of last years event are on here somewhere, won't be an awful lot different this year.
  18. Jez think I have a .bmp image of the Britains Atcost sign. PM me an email address and I'll send a copy of the file.
  19. Brilliant. Looking forward to seeing it in the flesh at Toytrac. Didn't see any adverts for the sale of Frogs Hole Farm or the dispersal sale. Which Land/Estate Agents did you use, a Kent based I one is expect, Geering and Colyer?
  20. Lemken with a Fendt 936, Kverneland with a Fendt 820 or Claas Axion 840/850.
  21. I seee Mike Thorne is having another Open Day this year. Details are Saturday 5th July 2008 Coldridge Collection Open Day, Coldridge, North Devon from - 1100hrs onwards On the day it is hoped that the Massey Ferguson "Nipper" will be fired up by the Banner Lane specialist engineers. This tractor was a one-off high powered "dragster" and it should be entertaining to see it in action. A charge of £3 per person will be made and all proceeds will go to the North Devon Hospice. If the weathers as good this year as it was for the 2007 Open Day it will be great day out
  22. Better find something esle as well to sell Bazza. UH Gimme Dealer box is out and the dealer boxed Lemken plough and Vaderstad drill will be available in the next couple of weeks. Hopefully after that there will be a lull.
  23. I agree Bill. A lot of old vans that have served their purpose get converted to caravanettes. Then they are rarely used and either rot away or breakdown when they are used. Viewed as unreliable get scrapped. We had an original Transit van (white as well) for about 20 years before the rust worm got to bad and it failed its MOT. One of the best vehicles we ever had.
  24. Yep thats a Commer 15cwt (Commer PA I think was its designation). Had to drive one of those for two weeks one summer in the early 70's, absolute pile of s**t. Wouldn't go, stop or steer. Worst vehicle I've ever come across. Didn't BT have a load of them painted yellow?
