  10. damn contract work has got in the way for us to attend the show this year :'( chopping 38 acres of grass and then 12 acres of maize about five to ten minutes from the centre, might just manage it but it's the parking problem now, anywhere to park a artic low loader and the lads on tractors and trailer?

  12. a mog would be perfect but, it's to much money to sit doing little during the winternapart from abit of gritting, although it's much better option and we have thought about it and we have tryedone in the summer but it was useless you cant do any of the small tasks and also when you've got a trailer on the back they seem very numb!
  13. well i am starting to wish i never started this topic now! but we're running a john deere 6920s and a massey ferguson 6490 which will soon be changing to a fastrac 2170 and a fastrac 3200 mainly because it's not being fiddled with to make them go faster!
  14. cheers for that. we've re-jigged the programming for it and it's doing 54kph now but it's not quite quick enough as when we're moving from site to site we're trying to get there as fast as possible as usually we're 1/4 of the day picking the machine up dropping it off then going home getting one of the dump trailers then shooting off again, but the trailers are high speed ones as they used to be pulled by the fastrac before we moved brands
  15. well lately my dads been complaining that the massey ferguson and john deere are too slow on the road so we were talking to our john deere dealer if theres was something that could be done to speed them up abit and he said there was a guy that would come out and do it for you, so i was wondering if anyone knew anymore on this subject, maybe you've had it done or you know someone who has had it done. Any help greatly appreciated.
