  1. Fantastic work James, the finish on them is fantastic! I'd also be very interested if you're doing them in kit form
  2. Top work there Paul as always. The weathering looks just like a real tractor
  3. Looks better with the new drawbar Paul, what primer did you use? I've one similar to paint but can't find a primer that sticks
  4. Just had a catch up wit this topic Julian, you've got a great selection of machinery now
  5. Top work James, you're a master at the 1:32 scale truck builds
  6. Good updates as ever Alex, looking forward to following harvest with Oakley
  7. Makes you wonder what goes on in some peoples heads really. Looks well on you for managing the situation in the best manner though
  8. Great update Julian, good to see first cut is going well
  9. Plan is to build a couple of bale trailers whenever I get round to deciding how much plastruct I need. About to hack off the euro style drawbar on my Strautmann mixer to turn it round. What's up next for you?
  10. That looks dead on Paul, I like the effect of the tread on the tyres as well
  11. The trees really set the whole layout up perfectly. Excellent work Sean
  12. Brilliant as always Alex, the mog and the chaser look the business
  13. Same old, same old day really. Pushed the silage up and did the night check for bulling cows. All quiet and tucked up. Now for bed myself
  14. Had a nice relaxing day, started work at 8. AI'd 5 cows, did some foot trimming, milked this afternoon and toddled off home for 6. Feels like I've accomplished something though today. Now I'll be like a kid at Christmas as my new pick up arrives tomorrow
  15. We do all the cows in the parlour as you can walk down the front of them so no problems there. Get the occasional in calf heifer that is a pain but never really struggle too much as they have been AI'd in the crush for the last 12 weeks. Block calving so all the heifers are either 17ish months old or 4-5 months, which makes handling a bit easier. The job is always worse when its wet. Looking at Nissan Navara's, to satisfy my craving for a pick up
  16. Got to say I'm really pleased with it, it won't be my last one that's for sure. I fancy a 14 tonner next like we've got at home
  17. TB testing as well yesterday and today. Slow job when there's 1100 to test along with milking 600 of them. car shopping tomorrow at least though
  18. Cheers Sean. It's a Triffitt built not far from me. No stickers yet as Dan is sending them on to me
  19. Picked up my first Three oaks trailer today at leamington. Being a Yorkshireman I'm too tight to buy the silage version so I knocked some sides up myself. Fully removable, just need painting
  20. Looks good Paul, needs weathering to stock farmer spec now!
  21. Looks really good Paul, not a bad tractor by the looks of it. Excellennt once you've added all your touches
  22. That tractor is a disgrace Smithy, get the powerwasher out. I've got a job for the driver if she wants some decent tractors
