  1. i'll look out for a cheap one i'm half hoping someone will buy me it for christmas though and i think Marston trailers make their header trailers
  2. The tank lids on the new holland are different to the claas they wouldn't look right and would you say its worth the money?
  3. We finished our wheat today just some spring beans left now
  4. There's a shower most days here we've only cut 12 acres of wheat, 120 odd left and some oats which are now nearly fit, we're going to have a go tomorrow
  5. bent the straw chopper this morning taking the combine out of the shed oops
  6. i was there, it was a good show with quite a few good layouts and stalls selling lots of stuff not just the latest new releases i heard a few english voices and the odd irish accent, G and M were there with S.D Frater. Was anyone else on here there?
  7. i was hoeing some organic spring beans yesterday, i'm not really sure if i like the job maybe if i was going a bit faster it'd have helped
  8. i saw a field mown today the first in the area its not a very heavy crop though
  9. i did this with mine but the 5480 as i had one lying about minus the wheels, the cab isn't quite as accurate but i used the 6480's seat to get the armrest it turned out quite well but i'd still like to put some bigger tyres on it yours looks good on the claas tyres
  10. i agree the originals are mostly strong enough in the colours a lot of the edits are just over the top and the colours aren't really true anymore
  11. the belton branch is huge they have a massive yard full of machinery our combine came from there
  12. The pay your on is terrible there really i get £5 an hour at home and elsewhere i work at more than one place which is useful, because you meet more people and learn from more people and that way your always busy rather than working in one place where your more likely to have busy times and then quite times but it depends what type of farm your at. I also think pay should be more skill based than age based as you get some people who can hardly steer straight whatever age and then you can get young lads who are not bad at all they won't know everything but they can be a lot better than others
