  1. you need a front tank aswell, hope you dont mind me posting these photos but thought id show people the real machine so they can see how well you have replicated it
  2. i love that model, and id love that model but mainly due to us having used this exact make of planter. how much for one of these oh and it would look better on a john deere, case ih or new holland
  3. jst do what i do and use a water bottle with a spray nozzle and some fine dirt. it sticks a dream and if you dnt like it you just wipe it off and you can wait for it to dry then wet certain parts and it looks like its just got mucky again
  4. here is the video i have made from the spud plant
  5. here is my new lemken cultivator i have made and is demoing on my jd 6930. what do youlot think then???
  6. very true but i want to make enough to look like the harvester is filling the trailer so ill have to make enough to semifill the harvester and trailer
  7. well what do you think guys. im affraid i calnt say how ive done it as it is unique. if you pay me i might say how i did it but this is the first of many/. it takes about 2 minutes per plant so ive got my work cut out to make a trailer full
  8. not sure yet mate, its not going to be as big as our layout from last year anyway. just cramming plenty of detail into a small area. making the sugarbeet is the hard part but its coming on well
  9. well even though i have been busy and will be busy for most of the forthcoming months i have decided i will get a display done for toytrac even if i have to do night shifts making it. im not going to be going for the usual farmyard and fields based scene. im just going to have a few decent sized fields. the main field: new holland 110-90 + stoll v202 beet harvester jd 6930 + richard western 12 ton jd 6930 + kuhn 4f plough field 2: new holland T6020 + agrisem cultivator fendt 818 + joskin modulo 2 and injector i will have a small yard with an old dutch barn in it and some old and modern kit and possiblt on the lane will be a john deere 8345RT and the new cultivator from replicagri
  10. i like it as its so simple to do it. all you need is a spray gun to spray a mist of water onto the whole model and some fine dirt to sprinkle on in the places you want. if you dont like it just rub it off
  11. look at picture 3, ive even gone as far as putting it under the wheel arches. there is no point in doing it if you dont do it how it looked on the real machine
  12. well due to you lot liking the new holland and richard western i did the fendt and tanker and personally i think it looks great and it will look even better when i get it in a scene. what do you lot think then
  13. some of the kit they had when on the spuds 10 years ago
  14. the first 2 stores at barrats field, you can see photos of the site now a few pages back
  15. well the boss was showing me some photos the other day from when they grew sugarbeet and were the biggest grower of it in shropshire. here are some photos of the kit and then when they had the first 2 potato stores built on the site that is now known as barrats field
  16. cheers guys, thought id try a few other models and thought the fendt was better suited to the trailer the dealer wont be too happy when the van gets back in that state
  17. i can agree with you there as where i worked previous to griffiths was an 800 acre dairy and arable farm, and it is where i had gained nearly all the experience i hold now as i did everything from fencing to tractor driving as there was only 3 of us working there. the farm manager taught me how to do things when they needed doing and so when they needed doing again i could do them by myself. i will say that i have sent my cv to local farms that are considerably smaller ( 400-1200 acres) to see what happens as i just dont feel comfortable as of yet in such a large setup
  18. well this is going to go on my new model farm its a simple job apart from the trailer as it was a silage trailer so keeping the silage sides in tackt when taking them off was a job in itself really. its just real fine dirt from off the grader at work and all i have done is used a spray gun to apply tiny water droplets to the areas i wanted and then sprinckled the dirt on. it then sticks to it even when its dry and if you dont want it on there after you just wipe it off or use an old toothbrush to get it off with
