  1. just a small conversion to do for a customer,working lights,flashing beacons and decals.
  2. thanks. thats this model finished now,i have weathered it to look really dusty and its actually the first time in a long time i have used the air brush to weather a model.
  3. all the lights fitted and wired,the engine has also been detailed,the model is back together so all thats left to do is weather it.
  4. the mesh i used is off one of those spatter screens you cover a frying pan with.
  5. just you leave my workers alone,he's a prisoner of war and cheap labour ha ha!.i have painted the interior and the driver.
  6. i have narrowed the grass header and put it back together,what is meant to be the mesh on the top of it has been cut out and real mesh added.a custom built driver has been made for it and all the cab lights are finished.
  7. ok thats it stripped down,i have started on the grass pickup and taken it to bits ready for cutting down.
  8. this is my next project,i will be adding working lights all round and weathering it,so tonight it will be getting taken apart ready for conversion.
  9. after abit of cutting chopping and scratch building its a good match.ha ha!
  10. if you want a tipper body the same size as a marston grain trailer asda sells boxes of cotton buds for £1 and the box they come in is about the same size as the marsdon,a cheap quick easy fix to your problem.as for rams two sizes of alloy pipe one that fits inside another either from hobby shops or hardware shops.
  11. thanks for your comments guys. i have made all the decals so heres a couple of pics before it gets weathered.
  12. a little bit more done,all the tread plate has been fitted along with a few more small details.i have all the hoses to put in the right places and tidy up all the decals to make and fit then it will be weathered.
  13. i am starting on all the smaller details now ie all the pipe work and wires on the engine,air filter,radiator.drilled the frame work on the booms and fed through green pipes.
  14. finished painting the engine and weathered the turbo then test fitted the body work.all the cab lights are done.i now need to start on all the smaller details and make the decals for it.
