  1. The Britains JD 3050 and 3350 - fantastic models - really impressed by them. If this the Tomy influence, then well done Tomy. Also an all metal Siku tipping trailer - for my little boy - as he broke the last half plastic one!
  2. Schuco 4955 ( with some very awkward fixing screws) and the ROS F130 Winner. Both lovely models.

Thanks How much do they charge for delivery to the UK?

Anyone know how I could get hold of one of the Blue 70 series machines - apparently they were for sale at Spalding?
  5. I keep going back to look at the models side by side, and particularly for the Marge 8730, it just seems to look more 'right'. I drove a Q cabbed TW35 when I was a student harvest worker and it seems to have the right proportions - particularly the bonnet. The UH just seems a little too skinny as Sean said above.
  6. i think the paint colour might be just the photo quality. if anything, i'd say the UH machine is darker blue in the flesh. The blue is the same as that used on the smaller 7610 machines.
  7. The Marge Ford and County - great models but come at a price
  8. A couple more...so what's the view from the forum...worth the extra cash?
  9. 1st up the Countys - sorry not great photos as using flash on an iPhone
  10. Picked up both models from Graham today. Will try to post a couple of pics alongside the County and 30 series counterparts tomorrow Comparing side by side, the Marge seem to be a better shade of blue and the width of the bonnet seems more appropriate - its a bit too thin on the UH machine. Side by side, I'd say the two County's are pretty closely matched with the UH winning in some areas e.g. The steering angle on my Marge is tiny (those huge tyres are getting nowhere near close to fowling the bonnet). Overall, the Marge is more detailed as you'd expect for twice the money. On the 30s the gap is more noticeable. I'd say front axle position looks ok, although it is slightly further forward than the UH machine. The two machines are also different lengths which seems surprising! But the cab interior does have the funk transmission (although positioned very low - the operator needs long arms). Overall, the Marge is much better but the rear wheel hubs are a bit odd - the gaps are a bit big really. It's quite a chunk of cash to part with though for two machines!
  11. It's a bit tricky to tell from the photos if you are 100% right or not - even so, it still looks like a good improvement on the UH model (although quite a bit more expensive). I might pop over to G&M later and pick them up.
  12. Wiking Claas Axion 950 - a lovely model. I wish Wiking made a few more machines - I'd love to see what they could do with a big NH or JD - but I guess there isn't a strong connection with Germany so probably won't happen
  13. http://www.agriaffaires.co.uk/used/farm-tractor/2525407/ford-8730.html Re: my earlier post about odd wheels - looking at this real machine, it does seem that when the PAVT wheels are on their widest settings, you can see daylight between inner and outer parts of the hub - so Marge have them correct.
  14. Ah ok - was basing it on prices from G&M - maybe they have to get them via the dealers.

The exhaust looks like it isn't properly attached and, it's probably just the light, but the shade of blue looks a bit light. Almost Landini blue....
  16. Was there this morning. Pretty busy - lots of chat sitting on chairs in the sunshine.
  17. There is a lot more metal in the UH v the Norev which I guess is the trade off on the trolley. The Norev is also 30 pounds more expensive. But the Schuco MF/Fendt came a trolley but I guess wheels are cheaper to make.
  18. G&M have the combine in stock by the looks of things
  19. I'm guessing, based on the large number of similarities and common parts that a CaseIH 9230 combine on tracks might also be possible for UH? How similar are the real machines (externally at least - I appreciate the NH has twin rotors and the Case just one)? I know the cab (but not roof), engine, track units are the same and structurally they look pretty similar (e.g. The unloading spout and mounting looks the same). Could be a nice follow up release for 2013 for UH - and they're lovely machines in real life.
  20. I thought these pics might generate some chat....obviously not. Maybe everyone is enjoying/working hard in the better weather.
