  1. just received an excellent john deere 3350 in the post from mark ( mdford) will post pictures in my collection soon
  2. a 0 bidder with 100% bidding with that ebayer looks a bit suspicious to me
  3. i got mine from agricultural industrial services in sudbury ( ais for deere on ebay) and it was on the 7th of december they listed them on ebay and it arrived in the 12th it believe it is limited to 5000 world wide
  4. this guy has had a lot of rarities on ebay in the past and they usually sell for heavy money just a pity we didnt have 2 or 3 copies stashed away
  5. very nice john an excellent model and looks really good in that period display, keep the excellent models coming

  9. thats a bor conversion, i have a few in my collection wish i had the skills to do it ,
  10. nothing in the same power catergory pulls like them nowadays you need 160 horse to do the same job as a 3140 at 100 horse . decals are available from henri walker, walkerparts@planet.nl here is a picture of a set of henri`s decals
  11. 3140 is perfect as a tractor i drove a few but ertl has messed the decals on the 40 series the black bands should be on the number not the name that design was on the 50 series just a slight detail
  12. convo on here did an article on model farmer magazine about how to paint models in great detail, im sure he would be happy to give advice drop him a pm
  13. model is looking good so far , are you going to cut the rear fender away from the opu cab style fitted to the ertl and are you changing the decal ?
  14. the one on a britains 4020 is the closest to the real thing or dave towse does a tall air breather but the bowl is slightly different to the jd one maybe pdc on here ,

  17. well towards 2012 im going to slow down collecting standard models and focus more on coversions/ scratchbuilt models or tractors/ machinery ive used over the years ( right now ive said that bit who am i trying to convince )

  20. everything this guy has is mind blowing prices have noticed that for a year or so now, wonder if he ever sells anything
  21. the only difference i can see on the model without taking it out the box is the prestige model is it doesnt have goodyear on the tyres other wise its the same model as the plowcity version
  22. Hi mark at a glance the only difference is the box but i will give them closer examination in the morning
