  1. My first new model for 2024. Have to say not a bad model. Was not an intended purchase but the price was too good to resist.
  2. Sad that we are getting US market spec models, 445O looks ok but the others do not interest me at all, Leyland or County next please Britains.
  3. A bit late i am sorry but may i ask what happend to the Ford 7710/7910 they was going to release ages ago. Have they been put on hold or have they been dropped?.
  4. Fantastic models, County's 1184 has to be one of my all time favourite tractors. I would love one in my collection. May i ask is the 1184 bonnet conversion that attaches to a UH 1174 still available. I noticed them for sale on ebay a while back but i cannot seem to find them anymore. I have a spare 1174 that i could convert.
  5. Whats that Ih 1055 all about ?, thats for the US market surely?, can we have something more appropriate for the 100 years of BRITAINS models please..
  6. Interesting the earlier ones had working steering, my autoway one has a solid rear axle. Didnt know that.
  7. Fantastic array of the lovely old Britains kit Justin and all in excellent condition. Them old models just ooze character.
  8. Wouldn't mind one of them but 350 quid?, i don't think so !!!!.
  9. Three more recent additions, i particularly like the flying the flag, nuffield, leyland and marshall book a fantastic read so far. Always had a soft spot for these classic British tractors.
  10. These arrived this morning, 2 books i have wanted for ages, looking at this thread finally made me purchase purchase them!.
  11. Another one i have had for years. A few others
  12. A few more books from my shelves, Red Tractors is an amazing book though mainly about US built Internationals its a pretty epic work. Being a big fan of blues i just had to obtain a copy of this excellent book. Another fantastic book on Basildon built Fords plus an interesting book about Leylands. I purchased this many years ago and it still is an interesting read.
  13. This book about another Italian manufacturer is very good.
  14. I am considering getting a copy of that SAME book Robbo, for some reason i thought the text was in Italian.
  15. Thought i would start a topic on what tractor, farm, agricultural or any other book collections you have. I have always loved books and even in this age of the internet and the likes i still prefer to have information on hand in the form of a printed page. I will start the ball rolling with my latest purchases 3 books in fact i have wanted for ages and finally the other week i purchased them, 3 of Mr Gibbards classics.
  16. 2 nice ones today for me both on the drive home from work, a rough looking Mcormick mx135 with a mower and a tidy looking ford 7840 hedge trimming.
  17. Nice models there Justin, always had a soft spot for MB tracs, remember them being quite popular around my neck of the woods during the early to late 80s particularly the 1000 and the 1500s.
  18. Great i have a first edition 2680 with grey wheels and clickey thing, a mf 200 trailer and a 760 combine, didnt know they was worth 600 notes .
  19. It seems ridiculous i agree but when you think some people in this world are quite willing to pay tens of millions for a shiny piece of glass or metal dug out of the ground or a bit of paint on a piece of canvas then a few grand for some model tractors don't seem so bad.
  20. I would love a County 1184 but 370 quid is ridiculas really,
  21. Very very nice collection, impressed with the amount of tractor/implement box sets you have i never knew Britains made so many variations!. May i ask where did you get them all from as they tend to go for silly prices of ebay and the likes?.
  22. Them trailers are getting hard to find nowadays i belive, i have one in my collection but its drawbar got lost many years ago.
  23. Noticed a boxed britains bubble cabbed ford 6600 sold for almost £70 earlier !!!.
