Paul Palmer's conversions

Am loving this model mate... and a nice touch too... I am sure you probably know, but this model was based on my very own MF240 'Mavis' .. Andy has the original prototype I got for this before it came out on general release. I sold Mavis recently to someone who was desperate to make use of her. I'd not set eyes on her for well over a year so it's good that she'll actually give someone some proper service. -

Nice one Paul ... most of the 6480's I've seen with a loader have been the 966 ... it's actually a bit long in the beam for my 4 cylinder tractor in all honesty ... my 5480 had the 955 .. which I assume is a 956 now :/ ? -

What tractors did you see today without getting photos
Lord Ferguson replied to FB's topic in Farm Talk
MASSIVE show mate .. I don't think you could name much that wasn't there in all honesty. I can't believe how big kit is getting these days ... Tractors almost at 700hp ! .. BONKERS really. Obviously I spent most of my time at the MF stand ... only popping out to go to the toilet at the John Deere stand -

Hundreds.. I went to LAMMA .. blooming good show it was too. Roll on next year I say !! -
Thanks Bill... ever upwards mate.. well.. at least my overdraft limit is I've got a bit of a fitness bug at the moment mind you... so I do spend a lot of the time at the gym now... down from a tad over 16 stone to 12stone 3 today... new start.. new me and all that. Got to do something to keep my bloody pressure a bit lower than it has been of late. So I'll not be as frequent visitor as I have been in the past. I do miss the laughts this place generates I must say.

Whats your favourite model tractor that you own?
Lord Ferguson replied to bob123's topic in General Hobby Discussion
Good question.. One I've had to face recently.. For me... Classic combines MF1200.. Er.. I think :/ no .... Wait... MF240 from UH ... No.... Ertl MF1105 ... Doh ! -
You lot crack me up.. You've all been so very kind.. But the one person that's stood head and shoulders over all in my current 'mid-life crisis is dear Barry who sent me a string of long rambling texts.. All of which were some A1 insults.. The best one ending in... And I quote "but seriously now.. You really are a c..." Warms the very cockles if my heart does that.. Oh and someone please explain to old pops what that Limey expression means Now then.. I've moved out.. Brochures now installed... Broadband up and running.. Look out FTF I plan to be back as soon as I've worked out how to use this bloody washing machine.. Oh.. And does anyone know how to get the lid off a pot noodle ? ... Diane ? DIANE ? .. Anyone ? ...... Hello ? .... Hey that echos !

Bless you all... I'm glad someone is worried about me. Truth is... I have indeed been a busy boy at work lately... and I've also had some 'trouble at t'mill' .. Mrs F is soon to become Ms F .. or at least the 'estranged Mrs F' ... I've been in the process of moving from my family seat to a new 'gaff' all on my jack jones (well.. for now anyway ) .. so in short.. I've either not had the connection.. or I've been busy at work.... or busy begging Mfs F to let me at least keep one of my MF socks For now I'll be popping in and out as the time permits... You'll just have to put up with old Bog Breath Pullover or Stinky trousers Plops

Well done Jordan for getting a job buddy... I hope it all works out for you and I'm looking forward to hearing that you've been offered a full-time position after harvest. It's a pity some of of the other youngsters don't have you attitude towards working I must say.. fair play to you. Also.. It takes people like you to educate us older farts who think we know it all.. yes you still have a lot to learn... BUT... at 45 mate so do I !!! .. you are NEVER too old to learn... from anyone... now come and help my programme my bloody sky box please. .and show me how to reverse a trailer properly.. that'll do for starters Very best wishes to you

Word is.... the bloke on the internet part of the auction is mustard today Looking forward to this one I must say. -
thanks boys & girls... she is a stunner... and I agree on the seat cushion thing... BUT... with the old one gone there was no option really. Kev actually put that on before I had her I believe. And for once I agree with you Barry.... she is indeed, the best one in my current collection. I may well be having a 'thinning out' at some point in the future.. but I reckon Penny will be the last to go.. so she's pretty safe having Mavis and Little Mow in front of her in the queue. Ben... the MF12 is a lot smaller than this mate... it's a 100 series 'ride on' if you know what I mean... will get some images on here shortly for you.
