Dowdeswell MA140 plough
WillTEF20 replied to Barry's topic in Latest Implement Conversions & Scratch Builds
Wow π€© thatβs incredible work Barry π -
Possibly the late Ron and Mick Cooper? Iβve a number of their items mostly brass. A subsoiler and a couple of ploughs they made probably back in the early 2000βs.

What's your latest farm/Construction buy in 2023
WillTEF20 replied to Tractorman810's topic in General Hobby Discussion
After your link I managed to nab the red 7726S! Would have loved the black one as drive a black 7720S quite often! -
Britains JOHN DEERE 6R.185 upgrade
WillTEF20 replied to phil phoenix's topic in Latest Tractor Conversions & Scratch Builds
That looks spot on Phil, amazing what difference the dots on the leds make look spot on as the real ones always look βplastickyβ I think! -
Saw one in person at Toytrac yesterday and if the example is the same quality as the production then itβll be a good one ππ» plastic panels and chassis pretty much matched up unlike older JD models π

About the only good thing to come out of this harvest so far is plenty of wet evenings and weekends at the workbench! Last wet harvest I made a grain dryer this one I decided on a combine. MF 32 is the current project π -

Nothing ground breaking but more fun than buying off the shelf models! Shelbourne Reynolds feeder wagon and a Kidd 450 straw blower to go on a layout Iβm working on! -

Iβve had it on my list for a while after a conversation with our local Claydon rep via Twitter! I found the parts manuals and the brochures quite handy, using publisher I made side views to scale from stated dimensions! However since starting making the models we bought one on our home farm so if you need a hand with pictures and dimensions just shout ππ» -

Many thanks James, these have certainly tested my patience and skill with these! Have spent many an hour in the tractor cab thinking how each section will be made, cutting the Claydon logo out for the main frame was probably the easiest bit π The leg assemblies really tested me, 8 components in each 7 of them hand made, luckily I got the rear leg from a donor cultivator to save that hassle! -

Finally got the Claydons just about ready for some paint now! Has been a slog getting the leg assemblies all done but pleased how itβs gone π -
Whats on your workbench???
WillTEF20 replied to MODELFARMER's topic in Other Conversions & Scratch Builds
Started these back in the spring, finally got back to them since the weathers turned! Something a bit different, a pair of Claydon 3 metre Hybrid drills! Most of the frame is there now just the fiddly part of coulters and tines ! -
