Had full catch up here. Just gets better and better.
-
Looks quite a tidy wee job.

Sorry to resurrect this thread but I realised I haven't put pics up of the finished item.
-
Blowing a hooly here too with horizontal rain. Maximum gust was 'only' 77 mph, so far.

You've got some really smart models in those 'groups' and as Mart says, that Massey lineup is great! Not that the others aren't.
-
Nice brochures, Mark.
Hopefully the 20D tractors with the wide front tyres do have power steering
Am I following correctly; the early ones were 550s - full power steering etc but later were only 240s? I know which I'd choose.

I've seen a few videos of that but it's been extended since then. Would definitely be worth a visit.
I've never had a lens that small :D
Insert joke here.

I have a Galaxy Tab too, delighted with it and it synchs with all my other PCs/phones beautifully. Slightly bigger screen than iPad but nothing in it really. Couldn't do without the combo of Android phone and tablet now!

Thanks for the photos, Bill. I thought some of those may have made more than they did.

Supposed to be doing invoices but got lured away by the internets............

-1C last night - only +3C at the moment - winter beginning finally?
-
I suppose this was bound to occur, when the primary producer gets squeezed from both sides - higher input costs and lower profits as firms higher up the chain try to maintain their 'cut'.

There are currently 23,000 complaints, but you never hear of the positive comments as much!
Imagine the uproar if a grown-up had made those comments. ;D

That looks very well indeed. I was leading from one this summer.

Slates Plastikard?

I've only returned to work today and all I've done is sat in the chair sleeping for two days.... no cold symptoms as yet but a headache to die for and aching bones aplenty.
Old age finally catching up - or is that not just a normal Monday/Tuesday for you? ;D

Am I being a bit too picky, or is the front end of the 240 'wrong'. I think it has too much rake on it. Here, compared to DBP's 240 you can see what I mean. (Or have a look at Marky's originl specimen http://www.farmtoysforum.com/forum/index.php/topic,24748.660.html)

That is a lovely model. Very few convos are as tidy underneath as that one

For what it's worth, I've had a HTC Desire for a year now (making it one of the longest surviving phones I've had) and it's had it's fair share of drops, oil, water, muck and soil. It's the kind of tool I wanted years ago.
I have all my music on there so no ipod in tractor - just play through Bluetooth radio. Pretty much all the farm info too and just email workplans from Gatekeeper. Several apps I use daily.
Battery lasts about a day of fairly heavy use. Charge and sync every night. Oh and there's Google docs too.
Don't want to start a war but I bought it because it's not Apple.

Eddie Jordan's India Grand Prix shirt currently £102,000

Like the 'little lost Massey'.
The weathering looks good too - not too regular. Now get it pressure washed ;D
-
Nice update, Sean. The layout looks well, especially those combines which are excellent.
-
Lovely job, Johnny. It looks very well
-
Very smart. Not a straightforward job.

Thanks for all the comments. You would not believe how much bad language that went into making that.
The tractor is 'my 3065' - I'll post some pics up.
