just finished looking through this entire thread. What an amazing layout, watching it grow from the first postings to what it has become. Your attention to detail is a credit to you. I have loved seeing new additions to the layout particularly some of the new products from hollylovestoys. Keep posting new updates please :) :) :)

FIRHILLS FARMS UNDER CONSTRUCTION
philiprutland replied to pistol pete's topic in Model Farms & Layouts
great layout, looking forward to see more -
quite simply stunning!!!!!! Just love what you've done with what looks like a relatively small amount of space. I dont have any room for a lay out so was really impressed with the smaller dio's taking a leaf out of the boarder fine arts maybe? Can't wait to see more of what you do keep us posted ;D ;D

My apologies I have obviously been misinformed by my sources, very sorry. My relative who does a lot of DVD filming on machinery said that they were German based on one of his DVDs so I guess he had been misinformed also but thanks for setting the record straight & I will have a look at their web site as I find their set up fascinating Regards PR

Another really fantastic model keep 'em coming!!!!!! In reply to your question (Obviously I can't speak for the rest of the country but with regards to my local area in Norfolk) to be honest we don't see many grain carts (or Chaser bin's) in this area, the only one I know of is on a large farming company called Velcourt (or Belcourt I can never remember which) which is a German Based company which farms a huge number of estates in the Kings Lynn area of the Fens. This estate uses some serious kit including several CIH Quadtrac's, mainly CIH Magnums & Pumas & at least three NH CR combines including one with a 40ft Canadian built header. As for grain carting most of the farms in this area use 12/14 tonne trailers such as Richard Western or Marston etc to transport from the field to the barn/drier unit. Kind Regards Phil Rutland

:'( It's It's It's so beautiful........... love the Horsch Tiger & Kverneland Plough. Did you make them from scratch or convert them from other models? I would love to add both implements to my collection -
John Deere 8400T conversion
philiprutland replied to deere6920s's topic in Latest Tractor Conversions & Scratch Builds
lovely conversion, any more in the pipeline? Regards PR -
I agree................ loving the layout & nice detail. Fantastic NH & cattle set up but the Case :'( bit like shooting pigeons with an anti-aircraft gun . My personal choice (speaking from the area I live in) would be a "classic" such as UH 7810/Britains 1056XL or one of the smaller moderns such as UH McCormick Keep it coming Great job job PR (Text Talk removed).
