  1. Will check that Joe. Thanks for pointing it out.
  2. Could be a Harry Bell image? I'm sure he was doing some at one stage for Britains? It will be interesting to see if they adopt the FTF design concept for the dual wheel 7600.
  3. It was steady until just after lunch then quietened down quickly. October is often quieter than April but full marks to Dan and Co for really pushing this event as hard as possible to promote. I'm sure April next year will be even busier.
  4. Hello Joe, I will have another look into this and email you outside FTF.
  5. No problem, Smithy, I have noticed it's running a little slow so if we keep an eye on that and any problems, post in this topic.
  6. Apologies for the recent outage, things should be back to normal now. There was an issue with our host, Amazon AWS.
  7. What's the suggested retail price on this item?
  8. Hello Joe. An update has been installed to which the search feature has been improved apparently so could be something to do with that. If not cleared up in a couple of days, I will look into it further.
  9. Saw just up the road at Coningsby, the hottest temperature was recorded. Not too many reports this way of fires through this spell so far fortunately.
  10. Was a good show and well attended by the public. Perhaps an October event on the cards this years too. Hopefully he can build on the excellent diorama section next time too as a few local people (not collectors) I know attended with young children to look around and enjoyed seeing them. They then ended up spending a bit on Britains and Siku bits. First steps in rearing new enthusiasts and adds to the visitor numbers.
  11. I saw that and wondered if it was just a code 3 issue?
  12. The beer is pretty good in there but the food hit and miss recently if you're not ordering the carvery. Chip rations in operation! I understand the show is nearly fully booked so should be a good trade attendance at least.
  13. Reigniting this 'ancient' topic and will try and update the images in due course but cannot remember if this was the single wheel Norman issue or someone else?
  14. There was an auction in the US from the above this weekend and I was hoping to perhaps add some of the Toyfarmer gold edition issues to the collection this weekend but crikey, would not have predicted the values getting to where they did! Must be up there for record prices achieved in the sale of a 1/32 farm model!
  15. Would say you definitely have the rough end of it Sean but sign of the times with my other half getting a call this morning from a local restaurant (she was due to go for a meal this evening with friends) cancelling due to the storm. Perhaps slightly over the top!
  16. Just a reminder to be careful and mindful if storing models outside either in outbuildings / containers etc. Recommend off the floor. We collected a batch this week and have never seen moisture damage like it to so many issues. Not through direct flood damage, just damp air with it literally fusing boxes together within the outer cartons. Not good!
  17. Generally if opting for an independent ecommerce option, it's worthwhile looking for one that integrates with eBay, Amazon, Facebook even etsy etc. Shopify seems to be one that offers good integration like that but likely better choices out there. Most adapt pricing from your own website base price and calculate an appropriate price on the selling platforms' fees to ensure margin is maintained. The key is to then bait them from the platforms and reel them back to your own website for future purchases. Obviously only really applicable if you regularly sell. We've had several clients come to us from ebay generally disgruntled by their fees (ours are lower!) but more so for buyer's causing hassle. Facebook seems to be an alternative but again, across the various groups, whether it's tractors or cars, there are plenty of non-genuine buyers and sellers messing people about. Perhaps with their decreasing ad revenue, Facebook might look in the future at an ebay type model to take advantage of the marketplace?
  18. Booking Forms are out now, hopefully will be a good take up for it. I know the toy fair at Springfield's has been far from full since it started back.
  19. And another set, not previously seen.
  20. I wasn't aware that Yaxon produced some issues with plastic chassis and parts until recently. These two shown both are plastic rather than diecast.
  21. Interesting Joe. I think OEM's asking for it may be one of the reasons, particularly with Volvo already having AT Collections produce their machinery in 1/32.
  22. I'm pretty sure anything not issued after around 1998 was destroyed or part lost with the factory moves etc. Hopefully it'll be new tooling if done but also hope they steer away from this retrospective type of production. At least on a regular basis although with how the Fordson has gone, I'd imagine the marketing minds at Tomy aren't too concerned with what is done now. They have some great items they can potentially produce from fairly modern tooling releases with the licenses they have.
  23. Thanks John. Very Interesting indeed.
  24. Great find John. Don't think I have ever come across one. Is it the same shade as the Liliput Fordson in lighter blue?
  25. I remember our FTF 7000 Weathered and it took several attempts to get it right and even then it still got some stick but much better than that effort! Not the finished product surely?
