  1. There is a selection of all sorts really. Some unusual things, as well as your standard Britains! Will be interesting to see how it goes.
  2. Very impressive! I like that!
  3. The problem should be cleared up at the next update due next week.
  4. I had a chap from the local area call yesterday wanting to enter a real tractor in, so potentially a dexta in the next one already Back to the sale tomorrow, if anyone is wishing to leave commission bids, the deadline is around 4.30pm tomorrow to give us time to process them all.
  5. The next one is December 10th. Of course, ALL kind of toys, models, farming collectables, plus real machinery are welcome!
  6. There is now a fully illustrated hard copy catalogue available for the auction / sale. If are interested in one, send me a PM
  7. I had a sneak peak of the show tractor this morning. The final version is slightly different from the prototype earlier in they year. From talking to Colin, I dont think there will be many of these around, plus he hopes to have a Hawk McCormick outside the building too.
  8. Does anyone know anything about the background on this model? It is made completely from plastic and there seems to be no reference on it anywhere \ I dont think it is Product Miniature.
  9. I think they were the Victory Industry Plastic Vickers Paul. I dont think there was much change from 3000 quid though?
  10. Whilst researching for this upcoming Auction, I found further Lipkin derived models.
  11. I forgot I had an image of the Red Fordson in one of my photos from a show earlier in the year. Also, the post of the image of the yellow Fordson shows it with a wind up motor, where as I am sure they should not have them. Possible repaint perhaps. Another non mechanical version in blue turned up recently in a box (for the yellow edition). apparently it was sold like that from new too, so another variation to throw into the mix...blue non mechanical in yellow tractor box.
  12. I was talking to a chap who used to work for Denzil Skinner yesterday. Very interesting conversation and interesting to know some of the rarer models they did that nobody really knows about. They did an Aveling Barford Grader / Scraper which I didnt know about, both in large and small scale. There were VR180 and Vigor versions of the 1/16 crawler and also the Vickers crawler was released in a smaller scale. The small scale Nuffields are also genuine Denzil Skinner.
  13. We are pleased to announce that there will be a Farm Toys, Models & Collectables Auction on Friday 30th September. In conjunction with the Spalding Model Tractor Show weekend, the sale will be taking place on the Friday evening, held at Springfields Exhibition Centre, Spalding. Run by new Auction House, M&M Auctions, the sale will consist of approximately 300 lots, including toys and models new and old from the likes of Britains, Chad Valley, Siku, Lego, Denzil Skinner etc.. There is also a short machinery literature section which will hopefully be more prevalent in future sales. There are some particularly rare and hard to find pieces within the catalogue and hopefully plenty of choice. There are 4 sales per year planned with the next one due around the beginning of December. The easiest way to participate in the auction on the 30th September is by either leaving a commission bid - see www.mm-auctions.com or by "Bidding online LIVE" whilst the auction is going on. You can sign up to live bidding (and leave commission bids) by visiting the catalogue on the-saleroom.com - http://www.the-saleroom.com/en-gb/auction-catalogues/m-and-m-auctions/catalogue-id-2847775 The sale will be available to view at Springfields on the Thursday Evening and Friday before the sale. Of course, if anyone is attending the tractor show on the Saturday and Sunday, they are welcome to collect any lots won to save postage. For any more information, you can contact me direct (via PM on the forum) or you can email info@mm-auctions.com I am heavily involved in the sale so I will be happy to answer any queries. Many thanks Andy Farm Toys Forum
  14. We had a database crash yesterday morning when it was being backed up. It should be fully fixed by the end of today.
  15. Walter normally has Bruder I think? But I am sure you are likely to see some there.
  16. Not long now before the Autumn Spalding Show. I spoke to Colin, the organiser yesterday and it is a sell out for trade stands again, so should be plenty to see for everyone who attends. I have just checked and there are still rooms available at the travel lodge on site, but it appears to be nearly full. There will be a show model available again...a Hawk Hire McCormick produced by Siku...around 500 models available.
  17. Very Blustery in South Lincs. The neighbours gazebo is on the move! \
  18. Looks like an action packed day Johny! Great images that made me want to join in!
  19. Ah right! I have read about it in the paper but wasn't sure exactly what was going on.
  20. I think its Britains Action Drive? Looks that way anyway!
  21. Yes, it was very kind of Freerk to feature our magazine in agritoy this issue. Of course, we couldn't not repay the favour so I believe in issue no.9 of Model Farmer there is going to be an LCN special.
  22. Had anyone managed to obtain these yet? Either one of them? If so, how did you find assembly?
  23. October for the New Holland and November for the John Deere. All of the other releases are Autumn I believe.
