  1. Couple more non specific tractor brochures! The tyre specs are very interesting.
  2. Some of them not strictly new, but Im trying to build up a collection of County brochures and literature.
  3. We can only assume the model is on the water and heading to the warehouse at the moment. Production has been completed on the first version so its either at sea, or in the warehouse.
  4. Great pictures Jez. As Tellarian said, the UK needs to have something like that. A similar feat, may be achieved next year in the UK. At the moment it is in the planning stages, location is sorted, so could be launched next May. More details to come soon!
  5. There are plenty of toy soldier books Bill, but one that seems to bridge the gap towards farm stuff, and I find particularly interesting is this one: http://www.amazon.com/Britains-Civilian-Figures-Schiffer-Collectors/dp/076431520X
  6. I recieved this guide from Simon for review in Model Farmer. I have had a good look at it and there seems to be a few typos but generally the values are not too bad. It could be much more in depth in terms of variations, but as a low cost reference, it does ok.

    Hi!

Welcome to FTF John. In terms of collecting resources, there are 3 books by Peter Baron that discuss Britains items, with one of them having a very informative index. There is also 4 books available from David Pullen. 3 cataloging Britains tractors and implements, and one is essentially a collection of original catalogues. Amazon, WHsmiths or a google search should show you where to get these from.
  8. Any 7810 reviews submitted will most likely be entered in the next Model Farmer Magazine too.

Very nice Brian! Dave's done a very good job with that
  10. Very Busy show! Chandlers were there selling the white Massey 8690 - £40 each. There was also the new golden yellow fendt limited model from Schuco.
  11. Its Heckington Show for me today. The largest village show in the country as they like to be referred to! Weather is looking nice outside, so should be a fine day!
  12. Spent many years going to school in Holbeach, plus its where my Mum and Dad live. Cracking Thai, indian and chinese restaurants there. Good luck with the move!
  13. As part of our new releases section in future copies of Model Farmer Magazine, we want to feature a few inserts of the latest conversion / custom build news. From analysing the feedback from readers, a large proportion suggested we include a section for Custom Model News. We are happy to insert a picture or two of any build you have completed. If you are interested in having your work shown in the magazine (which is obviously now in print), simply send us an email to: info@modelfarmer.com What we need is a couple of high resolution images, plus a few pieces of relevant information. The items do not have to be for sale, but if they are, please include the price plus release date. We have a few spaces for anyone wanting to submit any work in time for our launch issue, with the deadline being next Monday! So if you want your work to be sat on the shelves in Tesco, send us an email before the end this week if possible! Many thanks Andy
  14. I think as is always the case when developing models, those making them need to be efficient with the tooling, plus with the Fords, its an authentic series being produced.
  15. I believe there is a prototype floating around so it is certainly a go'er!

    Siku 2010

Its preproduction so not a final version. I dont think Siku paint the hubs. The interior isn't painted either. They seemed to follow that trend on the Valtra too. \

    Siku 2010

Another image of the new Massey from Siku.
  18. We are doing a preview of the model in the next Model Farmer, but for those who are wondering what the model is, here's an image There will be some tweaks to this on the final version too.
  19. I believe they are Mandy. I recieved one in the post a few weeks ago.
  20. I believe Massey Ferguson are taking a number of the model after the show as its a new policy on any Massey Model produced apparently \ So effectively there will probably be the same amount available as the Spalding MB Trac.
  21. I believe they are on that boat now so I would guess August.
