Got me some nitromors, and keeping ths HSE Happy aswell

I mind in purchasing a large tin of nitromors last year for stripping layers of paint off of sandstone quoins, lent the remainder to a pal needing to strip a door, never got it back, had it been in the shed, i would have used it, nitromors will be getting purchased tomorrow, or when ever the mrs will let me out the house

Started stripping the paint of the back actor today, using a technique off heating the metal with a gas solder iron, and scraping the paint off with a flat head screwdriver it came off pretty quick, almost finished, hopefully start spraying somepoint during the week

Currently have the back actor off a britains JCB 3cx, which was due to be converted to a 4cx, but due to the fact im a clumsy b*****d, it fell from the work bench, breaking the front axel, and shattering the cab glass, so i have decided to create a back actor for a tractor, i plan on having "working" stabilisers, and various other bits and pieces, then spray it JD green,

Been an absolute scorcher in the site I'm currently on, 30.8 degrees it peaked today, left the forklift parked on the pavement too long and it left tyre prints in it, ment to be cooling down over the weekend hopefully, can't cope with the heat, tops off, shorts on, steel toe caps and socks, I'm some sight on the site these days...

fit as a fiddle me... should still be on them according to the quack but as the young ones say YOLO, no wont be any jumping in and out, carefully climbing the steps with 3 parts of the body touching at all times like your taught when sitting your ticket,

well its been my first week back since baby cameron was born, he arrived 10 days late, apparently he gets that from me , so been changing nappies and feeding him while carlys been getting a rest. So yesterday i started what was supposed to be a small job, the person im carrying out the work for owns a small plant company but decided it was to big for his largest machine which is a jcb 8020, told me on the phone its only 40 tonnes and the earths getting dumped up at the local farm, that was 160 tonnes ago, ended up taking my 3cx and 8085zts down, along with hiring a 9 tonne dumper, doesn't look nearly finished, and hate to think how much is still to come out, should have just stayed at home with cameron and let carly go back to work...would be so much easier!

It's almost like there in a way stealing from you I suppose, it's a shame that's someone's trying to do you out of pocket when your trying to run a well respected business, hope you manage to get it sorted out, I wouldn't even think about giving them a refund if that's the way there going to act,

Stood watching my pal driving a manitou down a pier to unload a barge, struggling to control the forklift as it skidded down the algey covered pier, then asking me to unload it as he was scared he would put the machine in the water... Slight problem, I'm on crutches, so he had to struggle himself

Just seen a load of irrigators working in Kettle produces fields today, didnt think the ground would be that dry considering the amount of rain we had in the later days of last week, don't think i saws a single irrigator working last year,

No problem, I suppose I deserve everything I get now a days,

What pleased me today, well finding out that everything going well with my wee boy, and finding out that no matter what I do, I can bring a smile to people's face through my stupidity

Well I have decided, after realising how big a part of my life farm toys forum is I'm no longer going to be deleting my account, and coming out my cave and I'm ready to face the music, I know it's going to take a while to gain everyone's trust again, but after carly telling me to sort my self out or she going to leave me, I've realised that lyings stupid and feeling sorry for myself because I was to embarrased to admit that after investing so much into a business I was no longer able to take ownership. Today, I've been on the road looking for work, I was told by a few employers they had no vacancies so I then took to my black book of contacts, and phoned one of my old clients from HWS plant who told me the best he could offer me was 6 months work on a loading shovel, with occasional 360 digger work in between so I can't complain with a baby on the way. Also going to be selling the js145w and my loadall as there's no work coming in for them.

okay boys i've been caught, due to finacial difficulties the deal of taking ownership of the company fell through, i lost my job as a plant operator and projects manager at the company, i have almost nothing to my name, contemplating bankruptcy, i lied on the forum, about the machines i "bought". When i posted those pictures of the machines it made me feel better about how things currently are, when i posted pictures, or post about what i'd been doing, and people replied to them it made me feel as if i had my business back, a business which once gave me a reason to wake up to, something that i was able to claim as mine, something i was proud of owning, one of the only things my dad had trusted me with, i then sold it, he no longer talks to me, i payed my brother connel off, he no longer talks, i have let myself, my family, my friends and fellow Farm Toys Forumers Down, i am sorry for any damage i have caused, and i am currently seeking help on how to delete my account. its just fancy pattern pave concrete, just the same as whats up to his house, one of his "assosiates" does it for a living and makes a tidy job of it, the boy who previously owned it liked everything clean and tidy, workshops imaculate, office was always tidy and staff where always on time and well presented, and they actually looked like they enjoyed there job... i cant stand sitting at a desk answering phones and looking at a computer all day it would drive me insane, handy having a few boys who go out pricing work and a few lassies in the office dealing with clients as it allows me to play with operate the machines and put in a days graft

yes it is, been working for them for a while now, my dad and the person i took over from used to be partners in the 90's they then split, with my dad taking the small side, and the other taking the heavy plant and haulage side to it. very tidy yard, indeed, i get the road sweeper driver to go over it every time he leaves the yard and enters it, the other yard is a bit of a tip, it doesnt have a proper concrete or tar surface as the steel tracks on the machines just tear it up.

absolute bang on, we had the tires swapped with the ones off of the volvo a30d it was replacing, and stuck some older more worn out ones on the volvo, so we have a set of new ones sitting for when the ones on the liebherr wear through to the rims,

It is indeed a ta230, 30 tonne capacity, thought about the ta240 but thought it was too big for our needs

Yes that's the "small yard" basicay where all the machines go to get serviced and where the lorrys are kept, looking rather tidy at the moment, but won't stay like that for long, gave it a wash for something to do, and its getting red and white chevrons around the front bumper so has to completely clean, almost brand new, got about 20 hours on the clock,

this beauty arrived at the yard this morning at half past 5, had the joys of unloading it half a mile from the yard because the german lorry driver refused to go up the track incase he got "stuck", i tried telling him we move machines twice the width down the track but it wasnt good enough for him, got her up to the yard, went back to bed, then went back and gave her a wash, chances of me driving this are slim, which is a shame, quite enjoyed my play around with it

doosan crew back again today, starting to think they just want to play with my machines, they did fit a weighing device thing on the loading shovel about 5 hours after arriving on site, rep is also trying to get me to purchase a new shovel and dump truck, but we've just got a new liebherr dumper and it wouldnt be worth buying a new shovel as the rest are as good as new. Back in the office tommorow, got a meeting with the bank, small amout of paperwork to "look" at, then said i would take the mrs out for lunch, not long until my wee boys dew, less than a month to go, getting excited

Well had our doosan rep on site today with a crew of 4 showing me how to change the booms, attachments how to do all the daily service checks and how to operate the machine, they also brought a Doosan DX380LC for a demo, got it for the rest of the month, not had a chance to have a shot of it as the doosan boys were also playing around with it, doosan rep also took me out for lunch, think there on site for the rest of the week showing the rest of the crew how to use the new machines, Never had this sort of service from jcb, starting to think Doosan is the way to go...
