I wasnt criticising postage at all mate, sorry if i offended,id rather pay that bit extra for postage to stop damage but when you look at the postage it usually adds a wee bit on which makes it less viable to buy online. Sorry for any offence again. -

If a model is worth 35 youll buy it for 40 on amazon. What makes online model buying expensive is postage, thats why id rather save my money for shows where discounts are given or i can haggle! You might find things cheaper in toymaster because theyd be buying in bulk so likely get models a wee bit cheaper. -
Tonight i was given the opportunity to have a shoot with a wagon ive been looking forward to seeing for quite some time now. Shes a Scania R560 V8 Its used by Donnell And Ellis for european tramping and goes away for 2 weeks at a time, and is driven by my uncle. Hopefully in the summer ill get a trip with him! Hello, this is the majority of my model collection
-
What ive also learnt recently about these is that while saving energy etc the carbon footprint in making them is colossal. Also,i wouldnt like to be standing near one of them if it decided to coupe....

Ive spent a night in a tent a mile or 2 away from wind turbines and there is a noticeable drone off them but tbh its nothing major,if you turned your tv up a few nicks you wouldnt hear it. Also these were probably a hell of a lot bigger, theyre the ones outside ballymena,if anyone knows them?

Why Dont The Manufactures Listen To ?
Reece7795 replied to Mike R's topic in General Hobby Discussion
Yes,and no,in my eyes. Yes,in that model builders should increase the quality of models and should indeed be taking the community's guidance and opinion on board. No,in that britains (in the example of the trailer) are making models for,no offence to anyone here, children mainly, their main market is likely children, and the majority of kids likely wouldnt be able to identify the problems that serious collectors have with models. I,myself,am not fond on some aspects of the kanes, but at a glance they do look great, and really,at that price you cannot complain. Sellers are going to make money from modifying them and i say good on them. You cant compare a 15 quid britains trailer to a 100 quid custom trailer,I would never buy a custom trailer because i havent the cash so im really pleased with britains trailer in that aspect. Consider, also, the cost of making the trailers, britains,i think,go for low price rather than high quality, which is good and bad.
