Thanks fred.I'm not looking for perfection,just a fair attempt.They're just for my own collection,models I've actually driven and none of them were perfect!

No,its actually a Siku MF 3050 with a britains MF 362 cab and front grill.I trimmed a small bit off the front of the bonnet a bit off the mudguards and base plate to help the cab sit better,though its not a very good fit.

Some wee conversions I've been passing time with,nothing major,nothing fancy.. first is a 365 and 390 2wd

Had a spare MF 362 roof so gave it a lick of paint and stuck it on.Think it looks ok

Thanks guys,its all MF 362 bar the axle which is from a ford 6600,its the only one I had!Trimmed the bonnet panels and thanks to dave towse for the decals

I've got the grill and decals from Dave (5030 decals as I've driven one)and painted the cab black,got some other wee things to do and I'll post some pics

Here are a couple of pics of my 390 and 290.They have to be tidied up yet.

You're correct with the chassis Justin,rear wheels are from it too,the front wheels are also from the 362(rears).The bonnet is from a MF2680 and the floorpan is a SIKU MF264.

Thanks for all the kind comments,guys.I've got an MF 290 and 390 on the go at the moment,same as this one...not perfect but good enough for me.

Well this is my first attempt at a conversion,she's a bit rough,but I'm quite happy with it.Might tidy it up in time.

They're great,Over the years I drove a 365,7 390s,2 390T and 4 399s.Where I work at the moment we have a 5455 and it just doesnt compare.Have the SIKU of it.Have seen Dave's models they are amazin

Thanks for the kind welcome guys,much appreciated. Sean,the MF 300 series are a favourite probably because I did more work on them as any other "breed".I'm even attempting a wee conversion of a 399,but I dont think it'll be worthy of the amazing models you guys create!
