  3. Might have someone with a 5480 cab, will find out for you
  4. Got a JCB 550-80 today, Grand model just a pity about the fixed axles
  5. Thanks Bob Apparently the 298 wasn't the best of the range 290 was supposed to be a far better tractor Haven't actually seen the 298 with the linkage but might see If I can go round when he's at the grass to see if I can get a few pictures of her in action!
  6. Sorry to burst your Bubble Bob The 298 is gone aswell, broke our heart in repairs, couldn't keep a clutch in it and was forever stopping with fuel problems, Got a good price for it so let it go, clutch didn't last 100 hours last time for whatever reason, Just never worked when we needed it which was about twice a year to mix slurry and draw grass so we let her go, A man not far from us then bought it from the dealer and now has a front linkage on it which he puts a buckrake on, this is his second, seems to suit him well due to the duncan Lift off cab This is what we have now in place of it Will get a picture of the full fleet when first cut eventually arrives!
  7. Thanks for the great comments lads, Thats the plan, to make our our farm equipment in model form over time Yes Robert we sold the Massey 4255 in the summer of last year, Got the 5440 in place of it We still have the NH doublechop in the shed incase we ever need it for zero grazing, we've enough silage still to last another couple of weeks but it could be out this year unless it warms up abit and the ground dries, Unfortunately the harvester isn't on in the picture ready for first cut, that'll be a while yet
  8. I hadn't either and any pictures I had seen were different style cabs Its a C & G cab made in Dublin The tractor is out of Scotland Originally and I bought it off my mums Uncle who lives about a mile from me who no longer needs it
  9. Thanks Thats the plan, the company that made the cab is still on the go so I'll hopefully will be able to get all the parts I need Finished first year at uni now so off for summer, so thought it would be a good buy as a summer project Going to try and do as much of the work myself if I can Will keep you updated!
