Yes mate, and I am as guilty as anyone. Things change and go full circle most times, so the forum will see a steady membership and people will still come and look in from time to time. I think the hobby is going to shrink even more since the pandemic, some people are selling up there collections to raise funds, and the farm community is shrinking in the real world….which will not help people getting interested in machinery and tractors.

The grills seem a little different across the real ones, so to milk the moulds they had to go with one I suppose…who knows…..just a shame they didn’t get either one right.

Certainly is mate, we are just glad it went wrong while the subsidy cheque is still coming, when the extra money goes out of the job I don’t know how farmers will be able to afford to replace kit.

Try to get on here mate, but time just gets away from me. Been a rubbish year on the farm, wet autumn, wet winter, dry April, mega hailstorm in July, dull damp harvest, and now another wet autumn. Oh, and our Deere 6920 has just had the crown wheel in the back end give up and it’s going to cost 17k to fix……you couldn’t make it up mate…

Well, i went and took our 7 year old son to his first show. He loved all the dio’s and I thought it was a great little show, and if I’m honest I preferred this venue, so much scope to expand it with real tractors in future. What a road down to the farm though….thought my old x trail was going to get airbourn😬 great to catch up with a few people who I haven’t seen in ages. Thanks to all involved for putting the show on.

Mmmm, apart from that weirdo down in Sussex there won’t be much oddball stuff there that can’t be purchased online and posted safely. Can’t see Niels coming over from the Netherlands as the tax thing is all up the duff. Plus, there’s not much new stuff out to wet the appetite…….

I don’t bother with G and M unless I’m at their open day or at a show. Their website never shows what’s actually in stock, and I can’t be bothered to ring up to make enquiries.

Thought I had missed the boat on this model,found one at “carpet Farmer” in NI. Great service, will use them again.

Know for a fact that jd went into thurlow estates recently to oust the lexions and they couldn’t get near claas on price, and they don’t have the parts backup at any dealer that can compete with Manns. It’s worth remembering that rival brands buy each other’s machines when testing/ launching a new machine, and this lexi might just be one of them....who knows. One contractor locally here on 6500 acres has an x9 coming for harvest, has an 8rx that’s going well and was told last week by one of his customers his losing his 2500 acres after harvest....this is how the wheels can come off really quickly in the contracting game. A third of your work for your new combine gone.
