  1. Thanks for the helpful response Walter.I didn't expect it to be compatible,so there's a bonus. I guess the allure/prestige of the name drew me to think "Stuff it,I like a Lambo tractor" & whilst as you say it resembles a Deutz Fahr et al,it's unusual silver colour makes it stand out. I actually have never owned a Siku before,so this may start a flood & I will give you a verdict in due time. Thanks for the handy pictures & it would seem a got a nice little item for a tenner.
  2. Although it hasn't reached me yet to confirm,I've picked what appears to be a Lamborghini tractor in silver(an R8 265 apparently) so I eagerly await to ind out what it's like....... I'm assuming it won't be necessarily fully compatible with Britains impliments?
  3. Just ordered my last John Deere for a mere £15.29 on there.It's a 7930 (42266) & I should stop at three really.Just a JCB & then I can pick up a few buildings & implements.........
  4. Sounds like a poor show from the manufacturers there! I can't say I'm too impressed with their latest Land Rover(the type with the metal canopy). No sprung suspension.I bought a slightly older Defender on Ebay & that at least has the suspension(like the older 80s & County model),but the tyres are ridiculously wide.
  5. Anyone got some hints on how to get the cab off & add a driver figure? Seems like a finishing touch it desperately requires but I don't want to orce anything & break it.
  6. Funnily enough,I nearly made a right old mistake.Spotted a Britains MF 6480 & thought it was a bargain.Required 3 x AAA batteries to make it's lights etc work, before realising the model's a 1:16 instead of 1:32........... Must be near the end of the week
  7. I have ended up with two.The better one still has all the plastic cog teeth & also the front stand.
  8. Always had bother with the cogs on my Howard rotary manure spreader.I have a newer one that performs very well
  9. I'd be happy with ANY Britains Iveco milk tanker TBQH,as that was the one that got away as far as I was concerned. In my era it was the blue Milk Marketing Board version I remember(9604 apparently),that appear to be around the £60 on ebay these days
  10. I quite like the fold-up cultivator,as this was quite new when I got into the toys(showing my age now ). But you're quite correct Nathan. One thing I noticed the other day was the similarity between my New Holland T6070 & the Case 125 Maxxum.Same chassis, cab + interior, rear hitch.About the only alterations were colour(red instead of blue, obviously),the front bonnet from the cab to headlights including the front weight & the wheels are silver grey instead of white. Know what you mean about a plough-Good job I still have my 1985 Kverneland vari-width one in red.
  11. Cheers Justy.Ironically I had an email this morning telling me a Britains Massey Ferguson 3680 with dual rearwheels,a white cab & no box is on it's way from Somerset to me today. Paid a little short of £20 for it,but the model appears 100% & won't stand out from the rest of the stock. This is the last of the 1980s tractors I was hunting,so just a 760 Combine & a couple of implements from that era to find now.
  12. There seems to be an offer on Amazon for this at £37.99 but it appears they have BOTH barn buildings in a set for £15.49. The former offer is reduced from £59.99 which seems a decent offer.
  13. Does anyone know how many tractors in the latest range have removable cabs? So far I've discovered my New Holland T6070 does & allegedly, those on both the Case Maxxum 125 & JCB 7230 Fastrac(42503) will also remove quite easily. My reasons for asking are that two of mine don't (my MF & John Deere),which is a pity,as I'd like to add driver figures if possible........
  14. I anyone feels tempted, please be aware that the MF200 trailer doesn't connect up well with a MF7480.You pull the hitch up & the trailer trys to lift into the air.The only tractor I ever ound it worked well with was the Mercedes 1500 or the MF2680,being so heavy..
  15. Checked today & both our nearest stockists(same shop in different towns) have the Steiger 535 at £21.99. I've seen it online at £18.99 delivered, but at least the same shop had a rear-mounted Spearhead Orbital mower for £8 I'll find useful.Shame was that there was so little else of Britains stock other than some bale sets, fences & a few cattle.
