  1. Agree, sign of the times. Good example is the Kane silage trailer, gone up just over 20%! To be fair it varies model to model, but at RRP to buy a small tractor and grain trailer would cost the carpet farmer around £50, just seems too much to me. Some folks would have to work over 3 hours for that! So the shift may come if it's anyone other than those with plenty of disposable income!
  2. Britains have just put a lumpy price rise through! Stock in hand shouldn't change, but the increases will filter through soon enough!
  3. I needed to gain browny points (get back into positive territory) with my wife after buying another Freelander, so took her out for 3 meals in the space of a weekend! So the moral is to make sure you bank those points Sean!
  4. Looks like this is in the pipeline - 956XL ..... (1/32) And this too - 5100R ......(1/32)
  5. I reckon there will be a few variations on the same theme. The NFTS versions always have a little more to them.
  6. Picked this up today - something a little different and very limited (1 of 600) for back in the year 2000! Havent seen one of these around for a long time.
  7. Unlike most traders, they can afford to sell them that cheap 🤬! Good for the buyer though!
  8. Only going on what the wholesaler site is saying - maybe a re-stock?
  9. These have just popped up for you Ford fans - release date, well '2023' covers a fair few months. RRP for each, well I will leave £83.99 with you....... 5610 Gen 1 2WD U6442 7610 Gen 1 2WD U6443
  10. Definitely caught the AT Collections bug - Volvo EC220E 360 Crawler has come home - again a fantastic model - proper diecast weight and great detail.
  11. Folks are going to need serious money to keep up with that lot from UH, let alone any other manufacturer releases!!
  12. MB Tracs and Fendts are just re-releases or tweaks - unless they have updated anything..... It will be interesting to see the prices as the recent re-releases have been much the same price as previously. If they are similar then Wiese are going to look good value compared to say MarGe whose prices have jumped recently.....
  13. Don't want to breed anymore excitement, but it is a little unfair to single out Spalding - see the link below: https://www.bulldogfairs.com/toytrac These venues are not cheap to hire, heat or insure.
  14. Indeed! Knowing what I have to sell stuff at, certainly not that much! Mind you the internet wasn't a thing then - makes a huge difference. You would struggle to make a living out of a local shop nowadays - which is all there was back then, so much better too.....
  15. I have been sorting through my old trade catalogues and price lists to start and sell most of them and came accross this (not for sale). One of several trade price lists from back in the day that I have. I know its 35 years ago (1988), but look at these lovely prices!!
  16. I guess commissioned by Accurate Diecast who are the UK importer
  17. Universal Hobbies, should be in the UK by the end of January. The RRP is going to be £60......though you should be able to get them cheaper, I would hope!
  18. Just had a mail with this on..... Limited Edition only for the UK, 1000 pieces....... Should cost the same as the 3080, 1174, 1394 , 1490 etc etc
  19. Totally agree. I don't understand why anyone would expect a 100% accurate 'model' from Britains, they are just toys, as you say. Lets face it, a MarGe is not 100% and that is a 'model'. Britains, as all manufacturers do, are re-using castings. This has happened over many years and will continue to do so. The only thing changing for sure is the cost price!
  20. RRP is £27.99, but I bet you will see them on Ebay at that price posted etc.......
  21. It seems that a lot of the Limited Edition 956 and 1056XLs have been soaked up by Case themselves, which has left the UK very short of these models. So before the prices go silly, I would get one!
  22. Crazy is right! Red diesel hit £1/Litre this week, staying at that level we will be spending an extra £2700/day during harvest versus 2021! Forward buy prices are being withdrawn also!
  23. Kane Tri Axle Trailer now showing as September.......
  24. These are due to be back in stock during March, so dont go paying big bucks for them now! 42701 - Kane Grain Trailer 42880 - Blue Field Roller 43049 - Kverneland Plough & Packomat 43181 - NC Manure Spreader
