Nice convo! I have just one question left, and correct me if i'm wrong: You were talking about a t-handle for the dyna6. But as far as i know the 6490 only came whith dyna6 transmission from the "new bonnet" versions....? So in my opinion it should be a dynashift version. Or the bonnet should be changed, first option seems easy to achieve i quess.

Nice convo, but i do think the bonnet is way to small to fit a 6485 or higher decall. Greetz -

Here are some pics of the real one. This tractor served as a demo tractor for the summer 2006 at the contractor I work for. I've driven it for about 400 hours. At the and of the summer 3 MF 6485 (new look) tractors were ordered. -

Of course I'm ok with that! The more Massey conversions the better, and for as far as I know I don't have any exclusive rights on that model -

well they are just the original front wheels of the siku 8280. MF's don't have that big front wheels as for example fendt's i guess? -

Well thanks for your complements -
Here are som pics of another Massey project of mine. It is based on the siku 8280 and 5455 (for the cab). Please tell me what you guys think about the shape of the hood.

Massey 6480 Dyna6 (update photos)
jan-jaapbol replied to jan-jaapbol's topic in Latest Tractor Conversions & Scratch Builds
Well I think the suppliers of models are undervaluing the importance of making MF models. So we Massey lovers need to build them ourselves. -
One of my somewhat older conversions. The 6290 is modified whit Robert Peeters wheels and a joal front axle. Attached to the massey is a BECO (Dutch brand) dump trailor based on the UH Joskin one.

Thanks fot both compliments

Wel I've pulled the cab into different parts ( be carefull, don't use to much violence!). The hole in the top of the roof I've filled with mastic (hope i translated it well). After this I polished and paintured it. From the plastic "glass" part of the cab I carefully broke away the steering pin rests. I hope this is a clear explanation, its not that easy to tell your moves in English being Dutch
