Thanks for the warm welcomes and the information. This forum is fantastic. I feel like a kid in a toy shop again! It has brought back so many memories already. I have now vowed to photograph every Britains item I have and possibly create a website to share my pictures with fellow collectors.

Hi there. This is my first post on here so please be gentle with me I collected Britains for some 10 years or so when I was younger. Sadly I didn't keep any boxes except those belonging to the last 2 tractors I bought, one of which being the Deutz DX-6 Catalogue No 9524. Having looked on ebay recently just out of interest to see what the going rate is thesedays for Britains models it would appear that the aforementioned Deutz DX6 is one of the most valuable and sought after. Can anyone who knows the market for secondhand Britains models please...... a) Confirm whether I'm right in saying this and If this is indeed the case, explain why this model is so much more valuable than others produced around the same time and in equally good condition (either boxed or unboxed) Many thanks Mal
