  1. I saw this same item sell today from the same seller I am sure, hmmmmmmm.Ad said son was selling of some models to buy remote control JD6920,at least they have good taste
  2. Oh I do have to agree,MF have had better tractors than the 61-6270's they are shall we say slightly lacking in the odd 110hp or so? I know a chap who traded one in for a JD 6620 standard tractor and thought they had stuck an extra engine under the bonnet compared to the MF Coal burner. No Comparison? All the same congrats on the roller very smart, with the scraper etc.Nice to see little bits of detail like that.As for pulling it anything will pull a 14 ton roller within reason, its the stopping it on a grass hillside thats the tricky bit. \
  3. Well loon, looks like she's seen some work,I am across working no sae far fae you jist noo,wee place called Downie Mill I think it is,doin a Blackcurrent contract for a company who supply Beachems. We are cairtin in wee a MF135 n a auld knackerd cairt. What a come doon fae the Deere ,but fun at the same time.
  4. Hi Guy's,god I think ebay is on a down hill spiral these days! \ Doesn't seem to be the same money about! .Was well chuffed with the final price for a genuine MF595 oops MF590 .I do have another 590 and was tempted to make a second chance offer but couldn't bring myself to do it. \ ,Although I did let another Ford 6600 go to the second highest bidder, between the 2 sales paid for three of the Boxed Ford 6600's I have left.Would also recommend you guy's buy yourself a Dave Towse County 1884-40 Series the one I had is still selling and has doubled it's value already .Anyway away for a browse of the pages now,now where did I leave that bottle of Moet
  5. The one thing that stands out for myself is when I was younger,I would never have thought of buying anything but Britains, and I mean never. These days they get a look in from me after I check out the Universal Hobbies,Siku. I even notice the same with guys I know, there kids are playing with Siku out in the garden, sand pits etc. and looking non the worse for it.You ain't gonna do that with Britains. So there goes the play factor. You want to collect detailed models that look great on the shelf etc.Try and beat UH.Britains ain't in the same league. And these brands are getting bigger and stronger and costing the same or less roughly,RC2(Britains) can't afford to drag there heals for to much longer or thing's I think will really hit the fan! Hope they start to listen soon I have to many fond memories to want to see them go down into the gutter.
  6. I must take my hat off to them they are very very lovely pieces,my brother has a few of the Texel Sheep ones and a couple of the Clydesdale ones I think as they tie in with the family showing hobby.I would never have them at the moment but maybe when I get a few more Gray's on the heid I'll think about them.(no kids to destroy them then unlike now!!)
  7. They can stick there rules right up where the sun don't shine. My models my rules
  8. Ye never know mate, depends on when I decide they have made enough!!! or its time to take them off(the items that is )
  9. Can't remember did buy a N/H POWER FARM COMBINE for ?100.00 inc p&p,a POWER FARM COUNTY WITH LIVESTOCK TRAILER SET for ?104.00 inc shipping both boxed. There both quite recent though. In the past I have spent ?200 approx on a rarer Britains Boxed Set from the early sixties. Also my first Siku 400,000 Silver Lexion I went overboard on for the time at ?80.00 had another 2 since then for a lot less.Next big spend will be on a Britains N/H Boxed set the 5610 with blue cultivator etc.I want one of them and know I will have to pay for it :'( :'( :'(
  10. The STX would have to drive of the front wheels with the same sort of steering as the 9420T to get round the articulated chassis I suppose.Would be a couple of great models though.
  11. Surely the next step has to be a STX motored up or even a JD9420T (wonder how you could get round steering the tracks?),go on Dave solve that and I'll buy the first one.
  12. Worth a try though, never know what Dave might have up his sleeve?
  13. Well done Dave, that is a WOW model .One thing though instead of using a r/c unit could you not get it to work on the magic eyes on the side of the header for that really realistic effect? ;) ;D
  14. I think that stupid push pull plough set should get this title.Who ever designed it must have been sacked for getting it ohhhhhhhhh so wrong!Front plough is totally wrong for matching up with the last set of furrows.Shame on you Britains
  15. What his wife buys him a tractor in exchange for him stripping for Chrimbo! Wish mine was that easy to convince to buy me a model or have I maybe got the wrong end of the stick
