  1. Mr Walters. Just a suggestion....but would it be a possibility to make the new Massey Ferguson combines [made By ARGOLaverda]...? I suggest this because this would theoretically give you the base model for 4 models i.e. the Laverda, the MF, the Challenger and the Fendt.. Not only would this bring some more unusual stock to the Britains ERTL range, but 4 different models with few dofferences except for livery. Im sure if one were release each year, they would fly off the shelves, and would keep the Euro League [Fendt, MF and Laverda] happy, and the American Market [Challenger and MF also happy]. also, you keep costs down by making the same combine 4 times. Just a thought. Ga
  2. have checked out the UH website....what annoying music!...but an excellent range which i shall endeavour to pick up in the next few months. Thanks everyone. Ga
  3. what about something a bit different.... a zetor maybe, or the new hurlimanns that none of the other model makers are making [not even ROS] , or something by Landini....or anything thats not a deere or a CNH! Ga
  4. ok, im a late comer to UH.....just got 3...and must buy all of them....so what is there to get.....i know of these.... renault ares, atles, ergos + stuff....was there a celtis? claas ares mk1 and 2, atles, celtis, wagon, cougar tecnnoma sprayer valtra...how many variants??? Mccormick - V80, was there a CX, MTX175, ZTX isnt there a Same nad a Lambo too....? Have i missed any out?? I figure this is one company that i can buy all there models as each comes out, and will end up with all of them in the end, unlike britains siku etc, whose ranges i have huge holes in my collection, which i am desperatley trying to fill after a 3 year gap of buying.! Ga
  5. first ros laverda made was the 1-43 scxale 3890, about the same time as the 1-32 scale nh tx66 [mark 1] [mid 1990s. the 2350 was released next [1-32 scale] then the M306 [1-32 scale] theyre all fantastic!! trust me! Ga
  6. another stunning display John. Ga
  7. i used to do that but lost count of the number of pairs of scissors i buggered up. [i mean the strong scissors at that!] come on RC2 Britains....try harder! Ga
  8. Them wires are a real pain in the ass! Making my conversions, i waste Hours taking the bloody things off, and after a while, it hurts your fingers....ive found the easiest way is to use a pair of pliers and pull; with them. Ga

    What is this?

yes, good old ros, never too over concerned with little details like realism. they made 2 versiuons [same model, but the latter one had the coloured and black decals behind the nh name ......you know what i mean!] Ga
  10. Hoy crap - a 1-25 scale F130!!!! and @ ?5.99 - id kill for one of those...literally. i would also sell parts of my anatomy for an OLD Laverda combine by ROS [3680?] i think this was 1-32 scale. the 1-32 models were of 3 general body types [not inc the newer stuff] 1 the MF 3070 - thats all she ws 2 - Landini 10000 - served as 2 variant on thlandini 10000, also the hurlimann 6170 and the mf 1014 3 - the fiat 8090 - served as the fiat, the hesston , the agrifull 8090, and the fendt [****!!!!?!!!!****] 4 the iseki - if anyone else can think of any others please remind me. the heston baler - i have only ever seen one in a farming toys catalogue [you know - the big one brought out @ xmas each year....its a real old one its in too. looks great. I did have the fantastic merlo telehandler - but sold it for ?15 -00 - as handlers are really not my thing....im more tractors, combines and SPFH, balers, rakes and silage trailers. [with a few other bits chucked in. if anyone ha a ROS NH TX66 i would be very interested....as i sold my MUB one recently to buy a MIB one off G+M, but i think theyve stopped having them [please correct me if im wrong>...] Ga
  11. am i alone in thinking that ros models are/were not relly too bad at all [the tim of their day] i know their 1-32 scale series left a lot to be desired - indeed their fendt 926 vario - was a green and red fiat 8090 -[ha ha!], but their later 1-32 scale stuff [merlo handler and laverda combine a re very smart indeed, as was the old nh tx66, mf 3070 and newer nh crawler] their 1-25 stuff is also very tidy, and the 1-16 scale models are fantastically detailed. the hitches were not among the best, and the 1-32 stuff had an unfortunate tendency to be broken , but they were value for money dammit! i remember also they made an interesting iseki tractor [dont own one yet tho] as anyone who knows me will varify, i like the more unusual tractors....lambos, landinis, sames, belaruses, steyrs [not the britains one!]. stuff which u dont see everyday.....am sick to death of NH, MF, JD and JCB.... these are just the mindless rantings of a tired butcher....but im sure it madfe some sense when i was writing it. TTFN Ga
  12. good idea on the tim wheels - i reakon theyre a relativley good value for money maker - great for convos as we have both found, ey Nath.... Ga
  13. i reakon thems siku trailer tyres.... id have to kill atrailer for that - too expensive then....have just had a good look at PDCs abbey spreader - the Abbey Flash is on the wrong side....should be round the other side] theres no Abbey diamond decals on it, the pto housing is orange [should be black] and the flails are white, and should be blck. ha ha!!! Ga
  14. ill do whatever you want to it basically! its a single axle machine is it? You could have any make of spreader - abbey, marshall, belmac., hispec.. fraser, crompton and worden, kidd, taarup, KVtaarup, dowdswell, howard[!], ruscon.....etc etc i can put you different wheels on it of most types....ior anything you have in mind.... Paintjob + decals will cost you ?6.00 wheel change a further ?4 - unless i can keep the originals and therefor it will cost ?2 + p+p both ways [i woould guess about ?2...[twice] let me know what you think... Cheers. Ga
