  1. I knew I had a photo of an Albino Pheasant somewhere, Took this out my truck window in the mid 80's heading for a nearby chicken farm with 27.000 day old chick's. Regards Joe.
  2. Aye she was a beast of a machine, Still in production but now as a Komatsu PC8000 and weighing 800 tonne.Toyota Land Cruiser for scale, Regards Joe.
  3. Had to look twice there Smithy, thought that was the White Pheasant lying on the dust sheet, Regards Joe.
  4. Glad Gemma and you enjoyed your visit Paul, sorry I never met you, but life's like that whiles, Aye the Falkirk wheel is a fair bit of engineering, apparently the thing is so well balanced it only needs the same amount of electricity to do a full revolution as it takes to boil a kettle, ?? Up top just behind the wheel in the mid 80's another record breaking machine worked, the first hydraulic excavator to exceed 500ton, The Demag H485 at 550 ton, I used to drop my wife and kids off the nearby leisure centre when I would wonder around taking snaps of it, Regards Joe.
  5. Cheers Sean, I might have known, Regards Joe.
  6. I wonder if the seat on the Dinosaur was in the down position or maybe knackered when they measured it, as the real deal's seat cushion appears to be almost level with the bonnet, Regards Joe.
  7. Don't know if these would be any interest to you Sean, But brass turnbuckles make good and adjustable top links from Cornwall boats, https://www.cornwallmodelboats.co.uk/cgi-bin/sh000001.pl?WD=turnbuckles&PN=43409-Bottlescrew-15.3mm--Pack-of-10--43409.html#SID=310 Regards Joe.
  8. No your right, the price is approaching the vertical, specially as these are Russia built, There is a series of three though, and the box's are really very nice, Regards Joe.
  9. There just happens to be a lovely 75th Anniversary version of the 3522 on E-Bay right now Mike, https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p3519243.m570.l1313&_nkw=225054612150&_sacat=0 Regards Joe.
  10. Probably worth keeping an eye on the Valtra online shop, https://shop.valtra.com/en/models-toys.html Regards Joe.
  11. Your a scholar and a Gentleman Sean,After watching the video MarGe put up in 2019 it's always worth double checking they're videos, That year they clearly showed models of two Claas Lexion combines, but no one noticed, never thinking they would be produceing them,. Regards Joe.
  12. Nice photo's Mike, I almost thought that was John Kraaijvanger in the centre of the second photo, Seeing you're "on the spot" any idea what this prototype is on the MarGe stand, ?? Regards Joe.
  13. That looks really good James, I would like to try their Volvo FMX, But I reckon it wouldn't be possible useing my FDM printer. Regards Joe.
  14. One of the Irish lads posted a picture of one on Facebook two weeks ago, I couldn't find any info on it so didn't post anything, But yes the were available at the Sima show, should be on general release soon I guess, Regards Joe.
  15. According to Tractordatabase they were both the same at 85HP, but it is an American site, So maybe slightly different to UK spec,?? https://www.tractordata.com/farm-tractors/tractor-brands/caseih/caseih-tractors.html Regards Joe.

  17. Someone post a pic of one of these on Facebook recently saying they were 1/32nd and I thought it must be a typeo as I've only ever seen them in 1/35th, But just noticed now an advert from First Gear say new models in 1/32nd. https://www.firstgearonline.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=Forestry Regards Joe.

  20. Works fine for me James, I use Open Office as I rarely do any spread sheet or related Word type work, Open Office available free in link below, https://www.officesuite.com/en/download-pc/?referrer=premium-edit-tst-uk That will be very handy as I sometimes question the results returned by Agriscale, And like you say the World is very different now since 2008, Regards Joe.
  21. Excellent video Theike, thank you for shareing, a lot of info there I've been looking for for quite some time,. Regards Joe
  22. The "Saddle" diesel tank was a clever idea as well, I just wish my Dad had kept all the old diaries he had, he used to service his tractor every Sunday and log anything he did to it in detail, bought a new diary every time he was given a new tractor, about every three years if memory serves,?? Regards Joe.
  23. Nice to see some part's printed up on a resin printer Hugh, If I was still working I'd probably buy one for the better finish especially in the smaller parts like your cab steps even a well set up FDM printer would leave some stringing between the bars. Regards Joe.
  24. That must be a bit of a rarity Mike, A French Latil Forestry tractor with a Gardner engine, also my late father drove an International 674, the only tractor he ever rolled, put it down to the safety cab making it top heavy, I thought it was the best looking tractor he drove in the 31 years we lived there. Regards Joe.
