Never really had a go at changing tractors around, but always had the idea of doing some work to my 1056XL. I was originally just going to add beacons and a straight pipe, then my friend suggested putting on wider tyres. After much investigation, I decided that wheels off the siku Massey 5455 would be the best. I managed to remove the wheels off both tractors, although getting the siku wheels onto the britains tractor was difficult as the two brands attach differently. I ended up screwing them all on which was the best option believe. I've learned a bit about conversions from this tractor. Still a few minor details to add but here she is so far:

A john deere trailed mower here for conversion to a kvernaland with a grouper. Been on the bench a while but only getting round to working on it know.

Here in Laois it was raining all morning until lunchtime, dried up in the afternoon and it's good and dry now.

Was scrolling through YouTube earlier and spotted this. Driver had a load of tools as well as a metal frame which meant that the doors had to be left open. Police were concerned about the tools falling out. He got away lightly and just had to reorganise the load.

Yes they're all the same. Already have two other ones at another part of the site and they're doing well, hopefully these will do just as well.

Our school annual tractor run was on last night, I was on the organising committee so had the job of fencing off the drive to keep the other students back. Over 50 tractors in total.

Got the outside painted over the weekend

Tidied up the deck of the mower, did a bit of filling then painted the inside. Will paint the outside grey next.

Good bit of snow here in Laois today.

Got everything cut and split over the last few days. Went with the trailer load and got them split with a log splitter today. Then filled a few more bags and then stacked them all up. That's us done for another while.
